Just back from a week at the witches Craig. We had a great time.

We went for a weekend before and found the pitches won us over. The previous weekend we were at a hard standing pitch and our awning was flooded for 2 days! So we were really happy when it rained at the witches Craig and no flooding so I would say these are really good quality pitches well maintained as well. I also liked the fact that most touring pitches are roped off so there is no encroachment from other users.

The dog walk is through a wee Forrest and comes out at the graveyard for logie kirk and then circles along the main road. Also if you use the road at logie kirk you will find a path up the hill overlooking the site I think it's the witches crag.

The staff are most accommodating kind and friendly. Lots of flowers around too! The toilets were a wee bit on the small side but you can live with that because these are very clean and well maintained. The 4 showers are located in the loos which has a downside and I am sure you can guess what that is! The play park was fantastic for my 5 year old and we could see her from the caravan. Also lots of space to ride her bike too. Morrisons is down the road next to a burger king and pizza hut. The staff are lovely there too! There is a farm shop and bothy 2 mins away and has an extensive supply of meat, veg, fruit and ready meals. We regretted going here on our second last day as we would have liked to stock up.

On the whole we love this site and the situation with plenty to do in the area including a free brewery tour and tasting in bridge of allan! We will stay here again and again. Well done to witches Craig for a truely 5star site!

Great wee site which is well run by the family owners. Toilets and other facilities cannot be faulted. There is free Internet ( other sites take note! ) and you get a great TV picture.

The site caters mainly for tourers ( mainly hard standings) and tents, there are a few statics. You will be impressed by the site and the fantastic location looking onto the Dumyat hills and the Wallace Monument.

The local Morrisons is a five minute drive away. There are no pubs or restaurants within walking distance so a short drive is always required. Stirling is a great central location to base yourself to get to lots of locations.

Give this site a try you will be impressed. The only slight drawback is the main road which can be a bit noisy. A small price to pay for a otherwise excellent site.

We had a night here on our journey up north. We only picked it for it's location, about halfway for us up to the far north west.

What a find.

This is a very good site, great facilities, great staff and ideally positioned.

The Chinese, mentioned previously, is very good we sampled it. Morrisons is round the corner, we'll stay here again and buy our shopping on the way up next time.

It's a good site with plenty of attention to detail. Good, clean amenities, really nice and helpful staff. Good sized pitches, we had a hardstanding with ehu.

We will definitely be back

What an amazing site, clean tidy and pleasant owners and staff. Large flat pitches with free wifi.

Been here many times, however not as many as I would have liked, because they are doing far to good a job that they are booked out most weekends.

Great views of the ochil hills and the wallace monument at night.

Facilities are spotless and plenty of free hot water.

Large morrisons store only 5 min drive away, likewise halfords and other big stores.

I visited this site along with other family members over the Jubilee weekend. It was my first visit and will certainly not be my last.

I can only add with others have said, great pitches in great condition, we had one facing the Ochil hills and the view was superb. Toilets etc are very clean.

The site was fully booked while we where and the atmosphere on site was very good, the people around us very friendly too.

Stirling and the surrounding area has much to offer. On Saturday we went into Stirling, we used the park and ride facility just up the road. It doesn't take long to get into the city but it saves you the trouble of parking there. We visited the Old Town Jail and can highly recommend it as an activity for kids and adults (not very young kids though). Real actors play the parts and it was very realistic.

On the Sunday we took the kids to the leisure centre for the family day. There is a large inflatable that kids and adults can get on. There are also smaller pools for the small kids.

Kids loved the play park and the woods too. All in all a great site for all.

This is a cracking site staff very helpful and like a natter on. Pitches nice and tidy and big.

Toilets and showers are clean and tidy never had to wait for shower. Reception good order papers rolls and milk morrisons 5 minutes away. Surrounding area stunning with wallace tower looking down at you ochill hills right behind the site so plenty of walks to go on. Stirling 2 miles away bus stop short walk away.

Stirling castle well worth a visit as the wallace tower bannokburn visitor centre good to. Plenty of shops in stirling and outlet villages so good for the girls plenty of golf courses I played bridge of allen nice course bit hilly 10 minutes by car good for boys.

But the whole area steeped in history and beautiful scenery. Only bad point nearest pub about 2 miles away but plenty of supplies in van. Overall great site and staff and area would I go back big fat yes.
