This site has five hardstandings for caravans suitable for all year round use. Each pitch has its own electricity hook-up (16amp), water supply, television booster and grey water disposal. Ideal for those who struggle with fetching and disposing of water.

Very well laid out site and very well maintained. Grass was trimmed, hedges cut and good facilities for recycling.

Toliet blocks were very clean, reasonably heated and plenty of room in the showers with flip up seats in the dry area. Ample hot water.

Good laundry and dishwashing facilities. Ample hot water.

Good recreation areas, playground, tennis court and BBQ area. Resident ducks are delightful, just stop when they are crossing the road.

Owners were very friendly and obliging.

Shall return.

We chose the site since they claimed to be disabled friendly and were not dissapointed. The disabled toliet and shower room was very generously sized with plenty of room for the wheelchair user and carer. The shower has a low level screen plus a curtain with level access and a good seat.

We camped on the top field because it was easy to get a wheelchair to the toilets and washing up facilities. The pitches were a generous size and even at the Bank Holiday weekend we were not cramped.

Highly recommended.

Have just returned from a three night stay at this excellent campsite. It is large, beautifully laid outwith fixed caravans, tourers and tents with some pitches available alongside a shallow river. There is a large shower block with additional buildings including a laundry room, TV room and games room. There is also a super children's playground as well as safe roads for cycles and lots of grassy spaces for games etc. There is a large field set aside for dog walking.

The pitches are large and the staff friendly and very helpful. There is a reception with stocks of camping necessities such as batteries and gas. The nearest shop is in Tavistock which is a few miles by car and well worth a visit as there are daily markets and lovely coffee shops. There are two pubs close by both child and dog friendly.

Thecampsiteisa goodbase to visit all of these places andthere is easy access to the DartmoorNationalPark.

A relaxed, well maintained, quiet (except for the soothing sound of the river) and friendly site, which is suitable for families and couples who want to enjoy the countryside.

A lovely site next to a shallow but fast flowing river. The site has large pitches and the full range of showers chemical loo disposal points etc. There are plenty of walks accessible from the site but for shopping or food it is a car journey of approximately ten minutes to Tavistock which is well worth a visit. The owners are friendly and helpful.

We planned to stay 7 nights but that we extended to 10 as the park is excellent.

During the first 4/5 days it rained, sometimes V hard, other times just drizzle. Only once was I a little worried that the drainage might not cope but in the end it was excellent. Absolutely no problem.

We had a river side pitch which was lots of fun expecially with the river in full flow.

Kids enjoyed the playground which is very well designed and has some interesting features.

The toilets were excellently maintained and there was always hot water.

The Peter Tavy inn up the road is great, food is excellent and the beer not to bad either :)

It's close to the moors, so just a short drive and you can enjoy walks of all kinds to suit all abilities.

5 mins down the road is a great Trout farm with a kiddies pool which is jam packed with some very hungry fish :) We caught 3 large trout in 20mins.

I must say I was very impressed and will definitely be returning.

If I was forced to find a criticism, it would be. Erm. Nope can't think of one.

Ok, so we picked the wettest summer that Britain has seen in living memory - and decided to go camping!

We have just returned from a great week at Harford Bridge, it may have been pouring with rain for five of our seven days, but our spirits were never dampend.

The site itself is a doddle to find, just off the main road, but far enough away to not be bothered by any road noise. The layout of the site is also really good. The top half is populated with statics, with the lower areas laid out for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

We opted for a pitch with EHU, which was conveniently situated between the tennis court (free to use) and the toilet/shower block. Our pitch was also just a stone's throw away from the river, and we had a nice view of the bridge.

There were generous amounts of water points, and recycle areas, and an abundance of picnic benches, that you could move to serve your pitch. (Only a shame that we couldnt make more use of them due to the weather).

The toilet/shower blocks were excellent, with every shower having its own private changing area. We never had to queue, and the water was always at a good temperature. The toilets were always clean, and plenty of toilet paper was always available.

There are both indoor and covered outdoor washing up areas, and again, we never had to queue. There are also washing machines, tumble driers and a freezer for use by campers.

There is a playground area for the children, which seemed very popular, and also a big field opposite the main site for dog walkers.

The shop was very basic, I only went in there once to settle my bill, but this was unimportant as Tavistock is only a short drive away and has a Morrisons and Somerfield supermarket, plus a Co-Op and Spar for "out of hours" essentials.

One other thing worth mentioning, we had almost non-stop rain for pretty much the whole duration of our stay, but the ground was never saturated. Drainage was excellent - this is very important to us, as it always rains when we go camping! :-)

So, this site gets my wholehearted recommendation, I'm sure we will be back again to visit.
