Just returned from a weeks holiday, site was huge and packed, it was extremely hilly, partner ended up helping someone struggling to tow their van up a very steep hill. Also vans were too near to each other. One good thing we had a nice sea view.

I only used the shower block once because it was really dirty and the shower door didn't shut properly so the water went everywhere.

Food on the site was overpriced and to be honest not very nice. There is a nice pub next door to the site which did huge portions, and quite reasonable. Would also recommend the farm next to the site, quite pricey but well worth it, loads to do for the kids.

When we went to empty toilet we were amazed we had to empty it into a normal toilet, there was no elsan points?

Beach was nice but again to get there you had to go down a very steep hill.

The site has 3 clubhouses, the main club where they have entertainment for the younger kids got busy about 5.30 pm so if you went any later chances are you wouldn't get a seat. Room was really hot, didn't seem to have any air con (maybe done on purpose so you buy more drinks!)

All in all the kids loved the entertainment but think we would prefer to go back to Haven Littlesea because it isn't as hilly.

All I can do is praise this site the only fault being the very slopey pitches but next time we go we will know to get one at the top end of the field. The bad write-ups about this site I could not find, the amenities were clean showers hot and the view was fantastic, might be a different kettle of fish come July/August. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

HMMMMMM! Very steep touring area, I think my clutch has died.
Very poor / dirty toilet facilities. Very dusty roads in the touring area, still cleaning it out of my van. 1 family unit for bathing kids, used by every man and his dog it seems. Touring area needs the same amount of cash injection as the rest of the site, total modernisation wouldn't go amiss.

Entertainment for kids is v. Good tho. The kids shows seem quite short.
Good shop Good sports area with 3 outdoor and large indoor pools with slides. Very steep / hilly site, must have good legs! Nice beach, no dogs allowed in summer. Good views across the bay. Reasonable prices on site.

On arrival at this park we had the shock of our lives. The touring field is located very high on a steep hill. The gradient of the access road is so severe that some outfits had to have a tow by the wardens tractor or suffer clutch burn-out. The caravans are pitched extremely close together and I could nearly stretch out of our window and touch our neighbours windbreak!

There are two toilet blocks. The one we visited had a family room, which when used left the floor in a sea of brown coloured water. Unfortunately, we stayed during a wet week in july and so the tired looking touring field resembled a mud bath as there are no hardstanding pitches.

On the positive side, the warden was very helpful providing us with three foot of bricks to level our van. This is an all action site with great live entertainment which the children will love.

We didn't stop in our own caravan or tent, but in a static. But as they do camping there I will tell you of our experiences. As another person said it was a one way system & it took an age to work out where our van was, they need to review the map they give you !

We went towards the end of the season, when the outdoor swimming pool was closed which the kids weren't too happy about, but we went to the indoor one which was nice.

The site is hilly as another reviewer said & you can here the army doing there training up on the cliffs with guns shots going off every now & then.

The park has 2 pools an indoor one & an outdoor one,a huge arcade,a small football pitch, crazy golf & fantastic safe sandy beach.
There are 3 large rooms showing entertainment, some can get very busy so get there early to get a seat. The entertainment in these 3 rooms is second to none, there is something for everyone for the kids theres the characters Rory the Tiger,Bradley the Bear & Cheeky the Monkey.
Depending on which room you go in these characters go onto the stage & the kids do the usual dances with them, theres a small kids disco every night, theres also bingo early on in the evening in one of the rooms(Capones I think?),later on the resident compere gets the kids up on stage for some fun & games. As the night goes on there is the Haven dancers & a guest group that play a few sets..Both are good..

There is a restaurant which has a standard menu & certain days they have a theme night,ie indian, mexican, wild west..where the food reflects the theme. The main restaurant is a bit on the expensive side,I paid nearly 12 for a steak & it looked & tasted like horse meat!?? But the kids & missus enjoyed theres..

Downstairs in the main arcade are 3 fast food outlets, from memory a Burger King,a chippy & a KFC type of place, these were better with the chippy offering meal deals. The problem with these outlets is trying to get your order over to the server, they all seemed foreign & their english wasn't good.

Next door to the park is a museum/animal sanctuary type thing,it is a tad expensive but is ideal to visit on a rainy day as most of it is undercover. They serve food there, but your best bet is to take a picnic as theres loads of benches for those picnics. Theres animals to see birds, donkeys, horses, rabbits,h amsters & the kids can walk the goats, inside theres something for everyone, including slides & adventure playgrounds. I recommend you vistit this place..

As we are campers we ventured up to the camping area to take a look to see if it was worth bringing our caravan down to the site. The area set aside for campers is small & not very flat, more suited to caravans than tents I would have thought. We also checked out the toilet block & found it okay, but not brilliant.

So summing up the site there is loads to do night & day, but the camping & caravan facilites are something to be desired..

Great park. Kids loved it entertainment is fab. We went in june and the camping field was over crowded no space. More for caravans than tents. We stayed in a trailer tent. Where were no flat spots just sloping ground so every thing was sliding off the table all the time. But would go again for value for money.
