What a transformation NEW TOILET BLOCK and a NEW SHOWER BLOCK This has to be one of the best sites around now .Flat fields, New dish wash, With hot water .Out door showers for wet suit users. Walks that will take your breath away and the best place to watch the sun set, Sitting on top of a sand dune with 3 miles of sand in front of you. You have to watch the hang gliders take off from rhossili Down The Cafe on site served great Food fast even when it was busy. And I must say the toilets and showers were kept spotless all day. They even supply toilet roll now. The on site shop was well stocked and fair priced. The staff were helpful and nice. I will return

The best camp site I have ever stayed on in UK, simply because of its location, lack of tacky facilities, and the spirit of the campers that go there. I have been going since 12 years old and generally go a couple of times a years. The facilities are crude but perfect for the site, anything better would attract the wrong type of camper. The only negative are the people that run it, unbelievable! The lady on the gate last year threatened to throw me off the site, because I was struggling to find my receipt in my wallet during a severe downpour, and I'm a 50 yr old professional! I could tell similar stories of client abuse from almost every visit, either of us or of others, appalling complacency.

The campers at Hillend are great, fun and nice people, Site is split into 2 groups (Family's and groups) and everybody got on. The owners are a different matter, if you are below 20 be prepered for a hostile reception no matter how polite and patient you are with them. Even charged us twice because they didnt do our book in on arrival properly. Made us feel uncomfortable for being young. Great location, Great campers, Horrible owners and staff.

What a fabulous location. The Gower is really beutiful and the beach is superb at Llangenith.
Unfortunately the campsite was appalling and the price they charged was extortionate (£30 for two nights for just myself with a little tent). The toilet facilities are like something from the middle ages, grotty and very basic. They do not even supply toilet roll or anything to wash your hands with.
A real goldmine for the owners due to the location, and a real shame they did not seem to care about their customers.

The beach is AMAZING (and it is only a few minuites walk over some loverly dunes too) and the site is nice. there is a nice shop and cafe. We recomend it to all BUT bring your own toilet roll because there is not all ways some there.

Brilliant site!!!!!! Great beach, great dunes, great location, great ppl This campsite has a great friendly atmosphere and is a great place to stay for a few nights. Shop on site a swell as cafe .Showering facilities could do with some improvement but then again there weren't big queues for them. Best thing to do there is watch the sunset on the dunes it is just magical
