A friendly, peaceful, small site for max of 5 motorhomes/campervans, most vans needed one levelling block in use. I understand that more levelling work is to be carried out.
The site is a 5 mins walk to the pier for the ferry to Tobermory or boat trip to Staffa/Lunga with staffatours. Com (highly recommended) or 5 mins walk to the Kilchoan Hotel for a nice basket of fish and chips if you can't face cooking! The new chef had just started the day we arrived and we had no complaints, although the hotel needs upgrading.
The toilet on site is immaculate and the showers at the community centre (a short stroll away) are clean, hot, electric showers with a good sized changing cubicle- at £1 for a token which lasts 12 minutes ( opened 9-5 Mon to Sat, closed Sun)
I had the best nights sleep in a very long time at this site and awoke to the amazing birdsong! It is a fabulous site and I can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful find!
Very friendly and helpful owners who have made a beautiful, secluded site with everything you need close at hand.
There is a well kept, super clean toilet on site and showers close-by in the visitor centre if you need.
The best thing had to be the view of the sea - a great sight to wake up to. As others have said; shop, pub, petrol, visitor centre all in the village and a short drive to an amazing lighthouse and wonderful beach.
A gem of an area - our children loved too and we will definitely return.
Thank you

We travelled to this site at the beginning of April, the trip was exciting to say the least, you travel along some of the most scenic roads in Scotland. After the Corran ferry (£16, 50 for car caravan), the road goes to single track, there are plenty of passing places so nothing to fear there, after all if articulated vehicles use the road whats to worry about a car and van.
Once you arrive in this quite corner of Scotland, you will begin to understand why the local people have decided to call it home.
Chris, the owner of the site was on hand to meet us and assist in any way he could, Chris was typical of all the people we met, extremely helpful and friendly.
The site facilities are exactly as advertised, but if it was not for Chris and his handy work, this site would not be available to us, fantastic credit to one man and his pick axe.
Its an ideal location with views to die for, the pub is a hop skip and a jump away, along with the ferry to mull, the shop is a short walk away, although as you can imagine, in a remote place as this, things are not as cost effective as you would find at home, so its advisable to stock up.
We will certainly go back at some stage in our gipsy holiday lifestyle, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This was our first visit to Scotland and we were welcomed with a fish and chip supper from the local pub/hotel.
Our pitch was a few minutes walk to the pub and ferry to the isle of mull. There was also a shop and petrol station close by.
Our pitch was flat and had beautiful views out to sea and across to the isle of mull. The site has room for 5 motorhomes but may feel a bit cramped if full.
There were picnic tables for use on the front lawn where you could watch the birds and rabbits, and highland calves in the field behind us.
There are a few places to visit including a fantastic beach and a lighthouse. Take bikes as they are about 6 miles away.
Take a good supply of food and drink with you as this a very remote part of Scotland that is just idyllic and allow plenty of time to get there and make sure you have enough fuel for your journey.
