Our second visit to this site 2 years later and its just as good as we remembered.
All facilities clean and well kept, the site is well looked after and each pitch was immaculate. Check in was fast and efficient and we were given a key to our shower / toilet and told to pay when we decided to leave.
The site is a little way out of town but the bus is handy for trips in if you don't want to drive. There is a small supermarket roughly 15 minutes walk away. The site shop has fresh bread daily and a small restaurant serving snacks and bars meals as well as a bar. Reception staff very friendly and helpful with any requests or inquiries.
Free wifi access from all pitches which has a good signal strength.
Access to the site is literally minutes from the N630 and this route saves having to go through town at all.
This is an excellent site for those heading south but would say its worth using as a base for the surrounding area for a few days too.

I echo the comments made by others - this site is very good. There are over 100 parcelas on a sloping hillside. Access to the site is very wide and well surfaced and security is tip top with a barrier operated by reception.
Each parcela is fitted with its own ablution block to which only you and site staff have a key. There is a hot shower powered by gas boiler, wash basin & toilet with paper and we found all this to be scrupulously clean and in good order.
The parcelas are on a terraced hillside and when the site is almost empty getting our twin axled caravan into place was a doddle. However with a full site in summer a little more care would need to be taken with some of the smaller parcelas, possibly with the use of motor movers. Parking your car on the same parcela as a large van could be tight with the smaller ones too.
As well as your own ablution block there is also a water tap and hose fitted to each parcela. Electric is 10A.
As far as we were aware the big attraction in Caceres is the Old Town. There is multi story parking within 2 minutes walk of the Old Town on Calle San Jose. We stayed for almost 4 hours for 2 Euros. Street parking is nigh on impossible.
There is a large Carefour supermarket on Carretera de Valencia de Alcan. Shop on site carries only bread & a few essentials.

Little to add to other reviews but it is worth repeating what a great site this is.
The luxury of a private toilet and shower with unlimited hot water etc is unique in our short experience of sites.
As with other sites it is surprising how little there is in the site shop out of season, they have the staff and space but very little in the way of food.
There is a football pitch adjacent to the site and so on match nights there is some noise, but it is short lived and not a problem for us.
As this site is in an urban area it would not be a site that walkers would choose unless they want to drive to more rural areas.

Excellent site. Popular winter night halt on way south, but worth staying for a few days. Staff very helpful, pitches spacious. The only drawback to the individual shower cabins is that they're not heated in winter! The free wifi is a great bonus.
Large enclosed washing-up/laundry room. Washing machines cost 3 euros, which includes the soap powder. Caceres is a wonderful old town, as is Trujillo about 30 minutes drive away. The Monfrague National Park is worth visiting to see the gryffon vultures!
There is a large Carrefour supermarket 2 km from site.

Easy access and approach to campsite entrance. Wide avenues make it easy to get to pitch. Excellent swimming pool and restaurant bar.
The main positive for this site is the fact that each pitch has its own toilet, sinks, shower and water points.
Reception and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Care needs to be taken when pitching as the artificial shade frames are at different heights so make sure your allocated pitch is suitable for the height of your unit.
Free wifi to most pitches but the further you are from the reception the less likely you are to pick wifi up.
Caceras is well worth a visit with lively bars and restaurants and a beautiful medieval quarter.

One of the few sites in this region - but so worth visiting.
The site is just off the main road N630, next door to the football stadium. Although fairly close to a main road we didn't hear any road noise.
The pitches are on tiers and each pitch has its own toilet and shower (a wet room each is the best way to describe). These were immaculately clean and piping hot water.
Also each pitch has its own running water, hose and washing up sink. Some pitches have a cover which would be useful for very hot weather.
There is a bar and restaurant on site - both reasonably priced. Reception is open until 9.30pm and has a small shop selling essentials, bread, beer etc. Fairly well stocked even though site quiet whilst we were there.
We didn't use pool but looks lovely and well kept again as with the rest of the site.
Site approx 1 mile from Cacares town, which is a UNESCO site - absolutely stunning.
A bus stops over the road from the site and cost into centre of town is €1.50.
We paid €15 per night for 2 adults with ehu, private shower room etc all in.
This was rate with ACSI card.
Would 100% recommend - a great site, lovely region, and Caceres is stunning both the old town and the modern town.
