There are 4 or 5 sites to the North West of Tarifa - at the time of year we visited most were closed.
We chose this site as it was right next to the beach, a gate on site led to the sands, and the overall impression was a good clean site.
The site itself was tidy and well kept. Pitches were however fairly small. There was just room for a small camper and pull out awning and that meant you were at the edge of your pitch both sides. One night with a camper each side we had less than 4-5 ft between us and the units each side.
The site has a small supermarket which is open morning only, sells daily fresh bread. There is a bar and restaurant on site, only the bar was open as out of season. Wifi available outside the supermarket, no charge for using.
The real let down was the toilets / showers. Although the blocks look fairly new and beautifully tiled - they were never cleaned properly. One morning we saw the attendant in the ladies showers but he just mopped the floor around the 6 or 7 woman currently using the block. Toilets were never cleaned, there was never any toilet roll, none of the toilets had seats and the overall feel was one of being fairly dirty and uncared for. Hot water was available from 7am to 11am and 6pm to 10pm and showers had good pressure.
At €26 per night (that is with a 20% reduction) this was by far one of the most expensive sites we came across in 5 weeks (€15 was the average on most sites). For the location the money may be worth it - but to be honest the toilets / showers totally let it down and we wouldn't recommend this site for more than a couple of nights using your own facilities.
