This is the middle site of three about three miles out of Gythio. It's not a difficult cycle to the lovely town for shopping and coffee by the harbour.
There's a minimarket just outside the gate and another good supermarket one mile along the road or the beach. There's a couple of tavernas that are in easy walking distance along the beach or road, one where you can go into the kitchen and choose your food.
It's quite a green site with shade under various types of trees and a large unshaded area next to the beach and bar. The staff are friendly and it's a relaxed sort of site.
The three sets of toilets and and two sets of showers have been remodelled this winter and are clean and there are still some Greek toilets ( nothing to sit on) for those that like keeping a tradition.
There's a kitchen area ( no cooking facilities)a small shop restaurant ( basic) and bar. It's easy to fill motorhomes with water here. There's a laundry.
There is entertainment occasionally usually Greek musicians, sometimes films for children and a weekly talk about turtles by volunteers. Turtles nest along this wonderful stretch of beach. Windsurfers gather here as it's good for the sport and there are storage facilities for boards and sails.
You can have a shower when you come off the beach in a small shower area surrounded by banana trees!.
