Being unable to use a CL in the area that we had previously used last year we were fortunate to be David and Joan's first tourer visitors. We had business in Dundee and Perth. We were invited to comment on anything which we felt might improve things for following visitors. We needed to make only one suggestion, which was acted upon before we left the site. We returned again this year, and will, all being well, be returning again next.

Our little dogs enjoy the site, and are fascinated by the chickens and ducks. Points of interest include a couple of disintegrating aircraft nearby, the winery, ideally suited for visiting both Dundee and Perth, fruit farms, boot sale, vehicle auction, and (not just for emergency requirements)

Perthshire caravans just a few miles away. Eggs for breakfast. The best of free range and what flavour!

A real gem of a site, David and Joan have done themselves proud, providing a peaceful haven for those who don, t mind using their own facilities.

Lovely views, hard standing, electric hook up, great value for money with the added bonus of the free entertainment from the chickens and ducks.

Ideal for walking to the car boot on a Sunday or for visiting Perth and Dundee.

After spending a lovely week here, we cant wait to return, our opinion is. This is the 'best cl site in Scotland' go try it!

After a very long journey (5HRS). We received a very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.

David is a mind full of information, on where to go and what to see.

Like the other review the Ducks & Chickens make you laugh with their antics, especially on a wet and windy day.

The weather could have been better, but it did not keep us in. We even took a trip to Edinburgh on the train from Dundee good day out. We took trips to Dundee & Perth on the bus (the bus stop is just outside the campsite)it saves you looking for parking lots.

Glamis is not far away well worth a visit, There is a lot to see and do, it's just a pity that it rained so much, but the ducks & chickens made up for the weather or lack of it.

For a new site David & Joan have done a lot of hard work, in the short time they have been open, just the odd tweak or so and they have got it right.

All in all a good site and great hosts. We will be back.

This is a lovely site, with extremely welcoming and friendly owners. The campsite is ideally positioned for visits to the dealership at Perthshire Caravans, about three miles from the site.

Our trip on this occasion was to have a relaxing weekend and finish off with having some work done to the van before we headed home on the Monday.

The site is in a lovely quiet location, within easy reach of local amenities, but, who needs outside entertainment !, when we could sit in the van and watch the antics and comedy, of life in the little 'duck and chicken village'. This is a section of garden that is fenced off and populated by David and Joans collection of amusing birds.

To complete the eperience, what better, than to finish off with fresh eggs for breakfast curtesy of Mrs Hen.

We really like this site and will be regular visitors.

What a find! This was our first visit to a CL and we loved it. This brand new caravan club CL is run by very welcoming hosts David and Joan.

The site is situated in David and Joans one acre garden overlooking the lovely Perthshire countryside. Its a very clean, tidy and peaceful site.

The hens and ducks who share the garden and the parachute jumps at the airfield about 800 metres away, provided all the entertainment we needed.

There's a good circular walk down towards the Tay and up in to the village and back to the campsite, via the Smiddy pub!

We also visited antique shops in nearby Rait and the winery which is just down the road.

As long as you are happy to use all your own facilities in your van this is a great site for totally unwinding.
