The site is easily accessed and situated on the riverside west of La Roque-Gageac on the road between Beynac and Domme a few miles south of Sarlat. The whole area is very picturesque. We were at this site in September - low season - and found it to be relaxed, quiet and very handy for visiting the many places of interest. I would think that in August this place would be very busy. There is an outdoor swimming pool but we didn't use it so cannot comment on water temp. Toilets/showers are adequate and generally well kept. Pitches are grassy some with shade if required. There is direct access to the river 'beach' and canoeing is available locally.
