The site is easy to find and very close to the A35. It consists of a long field and costs £5/night. For this you get no electricity (The site has none at all). Getting drinking water and emptying the loo is a pain as there is a fair distance to carry it plus you have to bend under a couple of gates. There is a free-standing shed that has a toilet in it but it is a little tumble-down.
It had been raining the day before and we had to use grip-mats just to get in through the gate. Beware.
There are no footpaths so walking is restricted.
Overall a convenient stopover point, but that is all.
