Just to the north of Salamanca, literally a few hundred yards off junction 225 on the A62/E80 motorway. Despite closeness to the road not too much noise as well sheltered by farm buildings.
There are 20 pitches, all hardstanding with ehu. Plenty of fresh water taps and chem disposal on site. There was a good toilet / shower block, well kept. A laundry is also available.
The site has a small bar and restaurant serving set dish of the day meals for €10 per head - we didn't eat there but others that did said good food and good value. Over the road is a garage which sells pretty much everything you could need including fresh daily bread.
You can catch a bus near the site into the city, it leaves each morning and returns at lunchtime and teatime for €1. 50 per head each way.
The site owners were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
Site is open all year so its a great stop off for those heading south for the winter sun. Would also be a good base for a few days to explore the area.
We paid €16 for 2 adults with ehu.
