Site a couple of miles up the road from Aljezur. Down a track from main road, probably a 20 minute walk back to main road where there was a cafe/ bar. Beach is a 20 minute walk away - site runs a shuttle bus but only in summer. Worth driving / walking to beach, a couple of good cafes and a long stretch of sand. Beach used by the surfers.
Main site areas very clean and well kept (offices, bungalows etc). The actual camping area a bit sad looking. There were 5 or 6 clear pitches not completely tree covered. These were taken early, later arrivals opted for the roadside rather than the inner pitches which were scruffy and contained many old caravans, some of which looked dumped.
Showers / toilets were old but very clean. Good water pressure and piping hot water. No toilet seats / toilet paper / soap or hand towels.
Due to time of year everything on site closed up such as shops, bars etc. Reception lady very helpful and spoke really good English.
Wifi available for €6 per night.
Overall we found site expensive, €15. 50 per night, for facilities offered. Would guess its better as season goes on and more open. But more a one night stop over its ok if little pricey
