Next t door to the marina at Portimao this is a fairly new aire, open for 12 months.
It is an enormous carpark that is being run as an aire. There is drinking water available, chem disposal and you can empty grey water.
No ehu or toilets / showers, but there are showers and a laundry on the marina literally next door which you can use and pay for.
The aire is less than 5 minutes walk from Praia Da Rocha beach / shops. In the other direction its 15 minutes into Portimao old town and harbour.
Charged at €2. 50 per night its a bargain for what you see is what you get. Over 150-200 campers and when we stayed. All very friendly and secure, there is even a Sagres bar on site selling drinks etc and offering wifi service. Gentleman on gate very helpful and has plenty of leaflets on area and trips etc.
Hard to rate as no toilets etc and low score makes it seem poor - it isn't, its well worth trying.
