We spent a weekend here as a last minute thing, - we called up but were told we could not book over the telephone - but we were also advised we could just turn up and book in. Travel was easy with comprehensive directions from the motorway. These are on the website too
We arrived and checked in. All very efficient, however we were told in no uncertain terms how to pitch up -our caravan is continental in origin and in theory has the door on the 'wrong side' we were told we MUST pitch with nose inward on our hard standing pitch. I can understand if the site was busy but honestly we were surrounded by about 20 empty pitches. Did it really matter just for the weekend- we felt it was just the wardens asserting their authority? But rules are rules !
The site is good and level with tarmac roads connecting the smaller divided touring areas. Each area is named after trees, we were on 'ash'. Each area is lit at night and the areas each have their own water points, there is a nature walk between the touring fields and the river which is nice, and there is a newly installed trim trail/ adventure play area for the kids.
There are multiple toilet blocks all are absolutely spotless and well kept, our toilet block also required a code to open and gain access to the toilets and showers.
Upon arrival you hand over a £10 deposit for an entrance and exit key fob which operates the security barriers.
Its a good site, its close to Windsor, Legoland, Marlow and Henley. A great location to explore the rest of the Thames Valley.
The site is clearly very well looked after, the little campsite shop seems to be well stocked ( we didn't use it ) and everything is well laid out. The grounds are well kept and the close proximity to the river Thames is pleasant, you can watch the boats chug by.
It seemed a quiet site when we were there, but it was low season. The 250 plus touring pitches along with the 'ready tent' option plus some of the ' park homes' at the other end of the site leaves me to think it might be very busy in school holidays - all in all its a nice site and we would go back.

We stayed for 4 nights on a fully serviced pitch which was on hard standing/gravel. We liked the layout of the pitches as they were in a horseshoe shape around the edge of the field, making it more private than typical rows.
Our children had fun playing by the stream, and enjoyed a walk near the river. The new play area was very good.
Good location for Legoland and Windsor Castle, we used the site as a base for our day trips.
Shower block 2 was colder than shower block 1, both well maintained though.
Very quiet at night, waking up to seeing rabbits appearing out of their burrows was great.
Basics like milk/bread would be a bonus if sold in the site shop.
Would definitely return.

First visit to this campsite, very clean and well maintained. The site is divided up into small fields edged by well groomed hedges. Essentially a single road winds through the site feeding each field.
Toilet facility looked faily new and was very clean. There is a small shop in the reception that stocks essentials and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The kids enjoyed the trim trial and woodland paths.
Couldn't get a TV signal at all so it was lucky we took some DVD's.
Hurley village has a shop and two pubs that serve excellent food (discounts available for campsite users).
The weather wasn't great during the week so we ended up eating and shopping in Windsor and Reading. Windsor is lovely place to visit with loads of lovely eating places and Reading has a great indoor shopping centre called The Oracle. The best day however was at Legoland and the kids faces said it all.
Nice quiet campsite and would use again if going to Legoland.

Unlike the last review, we stayed on pitch 103 and had perfect TV reception (80+ channels), lovely and quiet out of season, shame there's no views of the Thames. It's not quite 'river side' but only 1 field and hedge back!
Second time here, so impressed we're running a rally here next year (rally rate not such a good reduction as other sites!).
16amp electrics, clean and warm toilets & showers, well located for Henley, Marlow etc.

We stayed here as a last minute booking on our way to another campsite. I am so pleased we did as I could have spent a month here! So peaceful and a lovely walk to the river to watch the boats going up and down the Thames. So many lovely walks - if your legs are young enough and you don't have a lazy dog!
The staff are very helpful, toilets and showers clean, unfortunately the 'Users' let the facilities down, but that happens anywhere - the human race at its worst! Only downfall we couldn't get TV reception, I noticed another review mentioned that. Perhaps we had the same plot - No 51. Handy to the toilets, washing up facility though. We were on hardstanding with services, prices were not overpriced, costs have gone up on all sites and for what you get I think it was good.
Little shop in reception for emergency items, again a little over priced but they have to make a profit. The site is well laid out and very well lit, at night I was not bothered when I took the dog out late at night. We loved this site and we will hopefully return

This was our first visit to Hurley Riverside. We originally booked for 3 nights intending to move on but was so impressed with park we decided to stay for another 3 nights.
We had a serviced pitch which was fine but occasionaly got a whiff of drains coming from waste water inlet. TV reception was poor but managed to get a few programs.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and moved us to another serviced pitch for the second three day stay as first pitch had already been booked by somebody else.
Small shop on site for emergency supplies and will order newspapers for you. There is another small shop in Hurley village but look carefully or you will miss it.
Lovely walk to Hurley lock(about 20 minutes)through the very large picnic area situated on the riverbank.
This is a very large park which is divided into several small areas (10-15 units or so)so you get the impression of being on a small cosy park.
Toilets are average but kept clean most of time also there is a block of Family Shower/WC rooms which is ideal for young families.
Overall very nice park close to many attractions e. G. Legoland ideal for young and old alike. We will definitely return next year.
