Amazing site and fantastic customer service. We were shown to our pitch and had a long chat about the surrounding area.

The toilet and shower block were the best we had experienced. Pitch size was exceptional.

Local supermarket too although we bought essentials in the camp shop.

There really isn't much we need to say about this site other than this is incredible and you should book!

The weather was shocking so we sadly left a day early but we will definitely be back.

We have just come back from 2 weeks at Warcombe Farm and before we left we booked again for next year, which in itself must tell you something. We were pitched this year next to the fishing lake, which we will avoid next year as it is a magnet for fishermen of all ages and we prefer the quiet that low season provides. We cannot comment on the play area provided for children other than to say it looked well thought out and was all of sturdy wooden construction and I know ours would have enjoyed it when they were small. For next year we have selected a more secluded pitch surrounded by trees, this is also the beauty of the site in that it caters for all tastes and requirements as there are larger more open spaces for more than one unit, although each pitch is clearly defined, to smaller individual pitches catering for one, two or more. The choice is yours.

We could not fault any of the other facilities, the toilet and shower blocks were very clean and warm, the shower cubicles had shelving units that gave you ample space to place towels, clothes, wash bag etc. A bin and a stool were also provided and I cannot rate these highly enough, there was also, a family bathroom which included a bath with shower over with free hot water. In the smaller block there are wet rooms all of a good size together with toilets that have hand basins within the cubicle. The washing up facilities were good, though I could imagine that in the height of summer it would be busy as they have 4 sinks and draining boards. Washing machines and tumble driers are also provided and the cost is average at 4 per load with tumble driers 1 for 20 mins. There was also a couple of Belfast sinks for any hand washing requirement.

On arrival, we were given a site map, though not shown to our pitch, but then we didn't get there til almost 5 and reception closed at 5. We were also given clear written instructions to the nearest Tesco.

All in all for service, friendliness, cleanliness and overall site we can fault Warcombe Farm and can see that we will be camping here for many years to come.

This is the second time we have stayed at the site

This is by far the best site with the best facilities we have stayed at.

Staff are friendly and helpful, there is a shop with the necessities that you need. There are two shower blocks, one has family showers that have good shower, well lit room, consists of basin and toilet and most importantly a place to put your things hooks and a bench to sit on.

The other blocks have individual showers basins and loos, all have places to put your belongings.

We arrived on the Friday afternoon and was taken to our pitch by one of the staff, the pitches are individual cove type pitches that give you a little privacy from the other pitches.

The only down side of our trip was the next tent to us, they were very noisy and played music into the night, they were laughing loudly singing etc, they made no attempt to even keep quiet something we always do.

The next morning I had to complain to the staff as I did not want other tent owners thinking the noise was us, the site owners told us that we should have phoned the number that was given to us on the welcome pack so that the nuisance could have been sorted immediately. They told us they would not tolerate any noisy neighbours and would speak with them immediately something that they did do.

The next door tent owners did in fact apologise to us that same morning so all was well.

Great site definitely worth a visit.

Summary A Very Good camp site, superb facilities.

We stayed here in a caravan for a 4 night rally with the Caravan Club. A very friendly and helpful site manager made us welcome and was very willing to ensure the rally went well. This is a large well laid out site, there are several types of pitch some fully serviced, some tucked away closer to nature. There is a small lake at the center of the site giving an nice outlook to many pitches. Pitches are large and many luxurious, with their facilities including BBQ stands and picnic tables. There are two superb facilities blocks with family bathrooms and underfloor heating.

The dog walk is superb. We could not fault the site.

There is a bus stop outside, good walks from site and a cycle track to Ilfracombe (why would you want to go there).

This was the first site we went to with our Motorhome for a shakedown weekend. We had a few teething problems with our purchase and the site wardens couldn't have been more helpful. We visited mid March and the site was quiet as you would expect. We chose this site because of the fantastic reviews and everything about this site is spot on. The shower and toilet blocks were immaculate. I could imagine staying in the summer for a week and the site being able to cope very well if full.

Try the freshly baked goodies that are on offer from reception for you to collect at 9am each morning. Pans au Chocolate, fresh scones and baguettes! And fantastic!

We will return at some point in the future. :-)

We stayed at Warcombe Farm at the end of July 2013 for a week. We chose a premier pitch and was allocated 238 which is at the bottom of the site. The pitch was surrounded on three sides by an established hedgerow providing us with a lot of privacy which is quite different to those at the top end of the site. I couldn't fault the pitch, it was huge (we have a Vango Maritsa 700 with front extension and still had lots of room) and having a water tap for our personal use was great.

As all the other reviews have said the main shower block was first class. Larger than average shower cubicles and a shelving unit allowed for safe and dry storage of clothes and toiletries to prevent the need for multiple bags to contain everything! The heated floor was heated enough to ensure the tiles weren't cold.

The site is a great location and we walked to Morte Point and Lee Bay and took day trips to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Lynmouth. There is plenty to see and do around this part of Devon, so much that we didn't fit everything in. That's fine though as we will definitely be revisiting and staying again at Warcombe Farm.

There's nothing I can fault this campsite for. It would be nice to see an undercover area to sit/eat so the food purchased from the visiting vans can be eaten at the top of the site even in the rainier days.

Would definitely recommend Warcombe Farm.
