Very happy with this campsite. Our first night we pitched in an extremely windy location and were glad to move to the other side of Reception on the second day, where the wind was kinder. Not many tents around so we didn't feel crowded at all. Very much appreciated the accessible bathroom, got my own key for a 20 deposit. Staff were friendly and helpful, views gorgeous, and even the midges were minimal. Much to see nearby, especially loved the walk to Coral Beach. Food shop and cafes nearby, including the Oldest Bakery on Skye. We stayed here three nights and I'd gladly stay here again.

Cannot fault anything, the owners give 110% very pleasant and most helpful and deserve to succeed,

We had an awning problem and Mark the owner couldn't do enough to help sort the problem even tho' I am sure he had more important things to do.

The Toilet block was always clean showers always had hot water.

A well run and tidy site.

Site in a good position handy to walk into Dunvegan and go to the castle.

We would have no hesitation to return here in the future.

We spent four nights here while we were on a roadtrip round Scotland to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We arrived really late due to the ferry from Orkney having been delayed due to bad weather. The owner came down to the pitch with a torch to make sure we were ok. We got set up and went to sleep. Next morning we woke up to the most stunning view. This really is the nicest campsite we have ever stayed on. The owners are friendly and helpful, the view is indescribably beautiful and the facilities are clean. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Had 1 night here before moving on to Portree on whistle-stop tour of Skye. Friendly welcome. Lent us a hook-up extension cable. Site not busy so given a waterside pitch looking down the loch. Good advice given re walks. Visited castle via a wooded walk which cut off some of the road. Saw seals in the sheltered waters by the castle. Returned via millennium monument for views. Indoor potwash room. Shower/toilets a little dark and dated, but clean. Great location and value for money. Walking distance of village shops.

One of our favourite sites on our tour of Scotland, booked for one night stayed for three. Run by a lovely helpful young couple, they are off cleaning the facilities between 12 and 2. 30 but there is a sign on the desk telling you to choose any pitch without a reserved sign and pay when they come back to the office. There are 25 hard standings looking down the Loch, all level and well spaced with beautiful views. The toilets and showers are modern and spotless, there is a very well equipped and reasonably priced laundry room, plus a good kitchen with washing up sinks. It is a 15 min level walk into the village which has a pub (good food reasonably priced and allows dogs in the room at the front), cafes, bakery and a small general store, opposite which is a tin shed which is a really good grocers who even have gluten-free bread and extremely good jams. There are some lovely walks from the site, including to the castle, you can get all the details from reception. The only slight drawback was the poor TV reception although phone and internet were both fine. Would we stay here again? Absolutely.

What a find on our first visit to Skye, a lovely site at end of Dunvegan Loch, with superb views down the loch length from our pitch alongside the water. A very warm welcome from the owners in their first full season, chatty, informative and extremely helpful. As stated by others, the village has many 'local' facilities. In our five day stay on Skye, we visited Dunvegan Castle, Skye main town Portree, and a full day touring round top north east corner of island, Old Man of Storr, Staffin, the Aird of Skye, Uig etc. , a lovely circular drive in what for this time of year was fantastic weather. Another visit to nearby Neist Point lighthouse. He island. I can strongly recommend this site.
