We were very disappointed with the pitch we were allocated. Had to reverse down a rubble track bordered by rusty crash barriers onto the pitch. The toilet block was divided into separate shower rooms, half of which were locked shut for most of the time creating queues. The showers were lukewarm, the underfloor heating was barely felt. The hot water & heating is supplied by a wood burning boiler which pummelled out acrid smoke the whole time we were there. On one evening we were told in no uncertain terms to make less noise by not laughing & joking at 9. 15 pm in our awning. When queried who was asking we were told in a threatening manner the Warden & did we want to make something of it. Not my idea of a 40 a night pitch. The entrance to the park is half way up a steep hill & on a bend. The local pubs are quite good if you can face the trek down the hill, part way with no footpath. Stayed at a lot better for a lot less.

This site was very clean and tidy, deceptively large and all in very good order.

The toilet block was superb, modern clean and large but odd in that you had your own bathroom, each bathroom had its own sink, toilet and shower !

So if you needed a tinkle you occupied a whole bathroom.

The little shop was perfect for the things you always forget and it had a lovely lake to fish in.

10. 00pm ish we were in darkness as all the site lights were out so was not ideal when walking the Dog, some pitches had lights but our area had nothing.

We felt overall the site was a little regimented but that's only our opinion.

Access to C. Martin was easy and quick either by road or a little track straight to the gravel cove.

Would we return, no. Only no because C. Martin was very run down, not the site itself which was nice.

Excellent site, highly recommended, very friendly, helpful staff. Site facilities are amazing, very little to add to what has already been said. We loved Combe Martin and the surrounding area, it's so picturesque! We enjoyed walking the coastal path with all it's incredible viewpoints. Local shops and pubs within short walking distance for motorhome uses. We will definitely add it to our list of best sites.

Just returned from 2 week holiday at newberry valley park what a relaxed and peaceful holiday we had. The site is fantastic very clean well kept pitches which are large and you not overlooked. The facilities are spotless and cleaning thoroughly, the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The site is in a lovely location near the village of combe martin and in a lovely setting in a valley with sheep and cattle in the fields and lots of wildlife about too. Would certainly go back.

A nice site and well looked after, the showers toilets and facilities were kept very clean. The location was excellent and the close proximity to Combe Martin was very convenient. When leaving the site on foot or by car great care is needed as it is situated on a blind bend.

We enjoyed our stay but found it costly. 6 per day for wifi on top of the 210 pitch fee and 14 awning fee make this site very pricey (266 for 1week) In comparison the Caravan Club charge 168 plus 25 per year for wifi.

Just back from 2 weeks at Newberry Valley. We had a 'super' pitch which was more than ample for our large unit (folding camper with awning) plus pup tent and two cars parked on the pitch. Still had plenty of grass for sitting/playing on.

Being in a valley the site is 'long and thin' and we were in field 4 (pitch 422) at the furthest extremity. This gave a peaceful pitch as no passing traffic except for others on our field but was a bit of a walk to the main loos and washing up block (about 4 mins). We did have some loos near us but no washing / washing up facilities.

Have to say the main look block was fabulous with showers like 'wet rooms' with their own loo and washbasin too. From memory there are 11 showers which meant that on a couple of occasions I had to wait a few minutes but nothing too bad. Dish washing area excellent too with plentiful hot water.

Other than a small playground on the site there isn't a lot else for kids to do (although they can have a daily ride on a trailer pulled by Ted Tractor!). The site was generally very peaceful with some nice walks (including around a small fishing lake). It is a very dog friendly site but this did not seem to cause any problems.

The staff worked tirelessly to maintain to site with the loos/showers rarely anything but spotless and the pitches being mowed within minutes of a departure.

It's a 5 min walk from the gate to the site to Combe Martin. This is a small town with relatively little to recommend it but has a small cove / beach with rock pools and caved to explore. We also rented Kayaks from the local shop which was fun.

All in all a very pleasant site. Not cheap but I guess that is what you pay for the level of attention it gets and the pitch size was excellent did not feel at all cheek-by-jowl.
