We have just spent another 5days at willowcroft this is the second time we have been to this site.
They have upgraded the toilets and showers its Very clean the owners could not be more helpful if you should need anything,
Children can play safe. Its also possible to walk along the riverside to the shops,
Great Yarmouth is 10 miles away but its a good road we had no hold ups and should you want to you visit.
We had a brilliant stay. We walked the dog along the river footpath in the evening and saw Owls, Herrons and lots of wildlife
We will at some stage go back as we really did enjoy our stay.

We have arrived home today after a 5 night stay at willow croft. We had a great time Jim and Kandy were very welcoming and helpful and were always around for us.
The campsite is in a lovely setting with a 2 min walk from the broads it is very well kept, clean and tidy.
The toilet/shower block was always clean and is very modern with lovely large showers.
We took 2 dogs who had lots of space on our pitch. It was also child friendly and was asked to join in with the local snail racing and fete.
Will hopefully be going again very soon we all had a great time

We arrived on a wet Bank Holiday Monday to an almost full site. The owner (Jim) showed us to our plot and was very welcoming. We parked but then had to drive to the far side of the site to fill with water before re-parking. We are new to this and have to learn to find the tap first! There are 3 taps on site but Jim said he was considering making more 'serviced pitches'.
Our plot was fairly soggy, but it had been raining solidly for the past 24 hours and most of the previous week! However, by the Thursday night, after even more rain, we had a small pond forming which was also forming under our friends tent. A few other pitches seemed affected but not all. Most of the rain seemed to drain after about 12 hours, but the rain would not let up. In less extreme weather this would not be a problem. When the sun did shine the site was beautiful.
The toilet/shower block was lovely. There are 3 showers and 4 loos with sinks in the ladies - kept stocked with paper & soap. Plugs available for hair-dryers etc which was good. There is an Elsan point and one covered washing up sink which had queues at peak times as the site was so busy - but the water was hot and everything was clean. There were tourist leaflets and second hand books/magazines in this area too.
It takes just a few minutes walk down the road to reach the broads and other campers had boats & kayaks that they could tow by hand from the site to the slipway. We carried our kayak and it was an easy entry point. Day boats can also be hired from nearby Potter Heigham (walkable from the site).
The coast at Horsey (near the Windpump) is a short drive away where seals can be seen playing in the sea.
Overall this is a lovely site and the owners are extremely helpful. I would recommend it.

Jewel in the Crown. Lovely little campsite away from the noise of the road, 2 minutes to The Broads where you can walk into Potter Heigham where you will find Lathams store which sells everything from fresh bread daily to a small safety pin. Kandy and Jim, who own the site cannot do too much for you. Site exceptionally clean, no rubbish anywhere. Toilets and showers spotless. There are a couple of pubs within a couple of miles who serve lovely pub grub. You can hire a boat in Potter Heigham if you want to have a day sailing on the Broads. My sister and her husband are bringing their caravan back along with us with our caravan for three weeks this year as it is a great place to be based for visiting the surrounding areas in Norfolk. Super little site.

A lovely site we visited after torrential rain and the site was very very boggy but the owners couldn't do enough for us. They towed us onto our plot and after 10 days off again.
The showers toilets washing facilities etc were beautiful and a credit to the owners. Despite the site been full and the owners having to use their imagination on where to put everyone due to weather, we never felt intruded upon and loved the fact there was no road noise.
Two minute walk to Norfolk Broads were hubby and son spent many evenings enjoying the fishing which of course was free so big added bonus.
Site ideal for Great Yarmouth but we found a gem in the name of Cromer where my son loved crabbing from the pier it is quiet here but beautiful if not a bit of a drive.
A very enjoyable holiday

First visit was in 1999. Have been every year since 2009. Site has been updated since our first visit, with the toilets having been refurbished. Lovely site in the dry although can get waterlogged at some places in the wet.
The owners are friendly and helpful, with excellent knowledge of surrounding area. Can hire a boat from Maycraft boat yard reasonably. Fishing (if you like that sort of thing), just a five minute walk to the staithe.
A scenic walk along the river takes you to Potter Heigham and Lathams in about half an hour.
Site itself is peaceful and safe for small children (they do have to make their own entertainment). Jim will site your van if you struggle. Some of the pitches in the centre could do with hard standing.
We have had some really enjoyable holidays at this site, perfect as a base to tour the Broads and Great Yarmouth not far away if you want some typical seaside fun. Can also recommend the tea rooms at the model village for tasty, reasonably priced food.
