On arrival we were surprised to see the huge slope on which the site is situated, especially after having rung the owner to ask that very question, the reply was that all pitches are level, they are not, you need to bring plenty of chocks for levelling.
That aside we found this to be a beautiful site with stunning views of the seascape. It was quiet and the toilet block was a little bleak but spotless. There is a shop nearby that sells most things, if a little expensive!
We drove to nearby Cromer, Sheringham, wells and Hunstanton on various trips out. We will return in the future. The beach is clean and has a blue flag, its only accessible when tide is out, but you can still walk on about 3 metres of beach when tide is in. Pub ( the Ship ) is about a 25 minute walk away, the beers not great but I'm sure the new landlord will soon get the hang of things. I would have marked site location 10/10 if it hadnt got such a slope.

Have been to this site for summer holidays for last 27 years. Ideal base for touring Norfolk, also Cromer carnival (mid August). Facilities always spotless plenty of hot water. Smashing sea views as on cliff top. Shop 5mins walk. Centre Mundesley 1m. Chippy, PO, burger bar, hardware store for gas. Butcher's meats to die for. Site not level so have levelling blocks. Wardens vince & pat are great. Booking essential. Grass kept well cut. Tv sockets in hook up point. Was pub 5 mins walk away but now closed so take plenty of refreshments!

This is a lovely site, weather was not but you cant have everything this is the uk afterall. We went here as we needed a site for my mother in law as she likes it quiet and its all we wanted quiet relaxing great. No the pitches are not level never found one that is but that was not a problem. The views were fantastic don't forget your binoculars as you can watch the ships and north sea ferrys, walks for you and dogs are great walk down the road to the beach and watch the surfers. There is a shop that's sells most things you need and is only a 5 minute walk. We noticed on a walk to the shops a mobile chip van at the houses across the road but did not try them but the ice cream van came most days and we did try them and can say there very nice indeed. The village is a good walk away or short drive with shops and a amusement arcade. Few niggles no dog bins on site so had to walk to the bins near the toilets need more light in the showers and there's a sink to wash your clothes but no washer just a spinner.
We will be returning soon

Easter weekend is not the best time to try and find a pitch at a day's notice, so we were surprised when this site accepted our booking without hesitation. Even more surprised that the site was far from full during our one night stay here on Good Friday. Especially as it's in such a perfect spot.
A large, quite sloping grassy field offers sea views from every pitch (though the middle terrace perhaps offers the best). Most seem to have electric, and there's a fresh water and waste point on the field.
The toilets and showers - at least the men's - are spacious and clean and, at the time we were there, hardly used. On the downside, my wife and another site guest reported that the ladies' showers were cold and low pressured. It was a minor nuisance that the washing up facilities were locked and could only be accessed by reporting to the site caretaker.
From the site a road and track lead directly down to the beach, along which you can walk to Mundesley, but you need to watch the tide. The walk along the road to the village takes about 20 minutes (not the 10 minutes the site website claims!), and the village itself is pleasant with a small range of shops, pubs and takeaways. Nearer to the site, A Spar shop is literally a 5 minute walk away.
There is lots to do in the area, and the bustling seaside resort of Cromer is just a short drive away. We would definitely come back to this site again, mainly for its location and peace and quiet (it's adults only).
The clifftop location can be a bit blowy, but there's nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the sea and waking next morning to a fabulous sea view!

My wife the and I have visited this site many times over the last ten years so we know the site very well,It has very good facilities with sea views to die for, most of the pitches are on a slope but this is no problem. The site is very clean and well kept with plenty of space between vans, the toilet block is always clean and tidy. The coast has some great walks if you have a dog.
The village of Mundesley is about half a mile from the the site just a nice walk and the shops have everything you may need while on holiday. I have to mention the butchers in the village is great being keen barby fans. Also for those who like a spot of fishing there are some lakes nearby at Gimmingham about a mile away. The warden Vince and his wife Pat are very friendly and helpful, its a very quiet site with not much for the young ones only peace and quiet the weather here is either wild and windy or red hot so be prepared.

Just spend 4 days at this lovely site. Cliff top views and very peaceful (adults only). It was very windy the day we arrived but calmed down by the second day - I am not sure what it would be like staying for a few days if that wind had kept up, but we were lucky as the weather turned and glorious sunshine prevailed for most of our stay. Only a short walk from very quiet, clean beach. You can walk into Mundesley (about a 45 minute walk down the beach or 30 minute walk by road) which has a butchers, post office, fresh fish stall, deli and a couple of convenience stores one within a couple of hundred yards of the site. On entering the site it says choose a pitch and then see our site warden, Vince. Pitches are not adequately marked and when we did choose a couple of pitches we were told by the lady who appeared on a buggy and was obviously in charge that they didn't use these pitches and had to choose again - good job we hadn't unhitched before being told! A degree of levelling is required on all the pitches. The elsan and water points are positioned well. The showers and toilets are clean and adequate - huge shower cubicles. The washing up facilities need sorting out there are three sinks but only one has taps? From the condition of the washing up facility we suspected that most people do the washing up in their vans. We loved this site and will return next year when perhaps we can take advantage of lighter nights by going earlier in the year.
