Spent a long weekend at this site in April.

Online booking was easy and we found the cost reasonable.

The site was well laid out and well maintained.

The toilet/shower blocks were new and clean.

We chose a lochside pitch which gave us direct access to the beach at Loch Morlich - might be a problem with midges in summer but no problem this early in the year.

Had a fish supper from the Youth Hostel across the road from the site - a little expensive but excellent quality.

Can recommend the Pine Marten bar which is next door with direct access from the site.

We also visited Aviemore and did a tour of the Cairngorm Brewery which I would heartily recommend (interesting tour and LOADS of free samples. All for 5 a head)

Will definitely return.

Large site in the perfect location. Friendly, helpful staff and immaculate facilities. Some areas look like a bit of a mud bath but having seen the standard of some of the driving on site I can sympathise with the staff.

Lovely open views of the hills on clear days, a little exposed when it`s windy, but you can`t have both!

The only down side - dog owners on site seem to disobey all common sense and courtesy and treat the place as their own. Roll on more dog free sites.

We spent a couple of nights during the first week of the new year at Glenmore and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, This is a lovely site set in the pine forest along the shore of the beautiful Loch Morlick, it has 2 large very well maintained, clean, heated facility blocks (although the top one was closed for the winter) we had a hardstanding pitch which is a must at this time of the year as the grass was rather wet ! there's loads of wildlife, we had regular visits from red squirrels ! there is an hourly bus service from outside the site entrance to both the Cairngorm ski centre and Aviemore and there's a lovely little bar 'The Pine Marten' just outside too. There is no TV, Radio or phone signal in the area so its an ideal place to get away from it all. Fantastic place we will return

Lovely site off the main road to the chairlift, just off the main road on the shores of Loch Morvich.

Large we'll run site affiliated to the CCC. Generous space in touring hard standing area, the majority of other pitches are grass with elec. The most popular ones are in the trees near beach. We booked ahead on line and got a good welcome from the reception, choice of pitches and local information. At this time of year Sun sets at 1730 and gets dark quickly, dark like townsfolk just can't realise. A head torch is recommended.

One toilet / shower block closed due to low season, only 1 brave camper, many caravans clearly on site for season but a good mix of visitors, especially with camper and Motorhomes. The other toilet block was large, spotless and warm - showers hot, push buttons but good pressure.

There is a laundry with washing and drying machines, all coin operated. Also sinks with plenty of hot water for hand-washing.

Lovely walk round Loch, great beach for kids n dogs to exercise and for everyone to watch the sun set. Truly stunning, the Loch was a mirror of Autumn colours reflected just before. There are pleanty well maintained way-marked walks from the site ranging from a mile to 5 miles+ and a footpath cyclepath / trail right back to Aviemore. But it's quite a way! Best to take the car, van or cycle.

This is a great site if you want to walk, cycle or use the loch for watersports. There is only one small shop and bar and a visitor centre with a cafe over the road. Aviemore isn't far away but it feels like you well away from the world out in the mountains.

No mobile signal at the site from Vodaphone or O2, we had a wifi dongle with a 3 sim and got a reasonable but intermittent signal.

We loved the site and the area and will visit again earlier in the year. Would not hesitate to come here again in October as Wx is amazing, it was also the same last year. (Dry and calm = amazing!)

Very dog friendly site, up to 3 dugs, no additional charge. They do charge for the kids. They are usually more trouble anyway. At least the ones in our family!

Come and visit this very environmentally friendly site.

We followed the postcode on Sat Nav - takes you to an outdoor pursuits centre! Just stay on the main road until Loch Morvich, its easy to find the old fashioned way.

Massive site but separated into several areas so didn't feel big and commercial. Welcome from wardens was friendly and helpful, choice of pitches as the site was quite empty. One toilet / shower block closed, the other very warm and clean - showers hot, push buttons but good pressure.

There is a laundry with washing and drying machines, also sinks with plenty of hot water for hand-washing.

Several way-marked walks from the site ranging from a mile to 5 miles. Also a footpath / trail right back to Aviemore which is suitable for walking or cycling.

We loved the site and the area and will visit again.

We had booked in advance after a recommendation, and found this to be the most expensive site we have visited over 5 years of Caravaning, we checked in and were asked if we wanted the open space or in the forest, Initially I had chosen a hard standing in the open space, but when we were escorted the by the warden, it was like looking down the row of a Travellers site, totally cluttered with a mix of Caravans and Motorhomes and our pitch was staring into large commercial waste bins needing emptied. So I refused and was offered a to pick a place in the Forest, we managed to pick a level pitch and and parked up, there had been heavy rain over a number of days and the site was waterlogged in some of the camp areas, they really do need to get a grip and get the Pitch areas up to a decent standard. The site toilet and showers were busy but clean, the Water fill and Waste drain were awkward, Chemical Toilet waste point was inside a smelly 6'x4'shed. BAD points out of the way, the site is located right on the edge of Loch Morlich, at the foot of the Cairngorms, with a beautiful sandy beach and lots of Forest walks and a Mountain Bikers paradise, (Wish we had taken our bikes). There is a small expensive Cafe and Pub( Pine Marten Bar) that can be accessed from the site, and the nearby Glenmore Youth Hostel, does Fish'n'Chips to take away. For a touring base you can head to Aviemore or out into the Cairngorm National park and explore the wonderful scenery, If you can be lucky enough to catch some good weather, this can be a wonderful location for families into Biking or Walking, I think this is their main selling point, Overall the Location is great, but the site layout needs seriously looked at, as it can turn out to be really messy in heavy rain, Under its current layout, We won't be back, nor will I be recommending it, it should excel itself as a Camping Park at the prices they charge.
