On arrival we the reception was very friendly and helpful, pointing out local walks in the area and provided us with leaflets for local walks which were very helpful. We were initially allocated a pitch in the Gold area, but I found this part of the site slightly unattractive with no views and near the road, so I asked had a look around the site then asked the man at reception if we could move to another serviced pitch in a different area and this was no problem. We moved to a white area serviced pitch with excellent view and a large very level pitch. The rest of the areas on the site were similarly nice. We found the toilet block to be excellent and very clean one of the best I've seen. We were close to the children's play park which looked excellent. The town centre was only a short walk with plenty of shops and bars, cafes and restaurants. There were also plenty of great walks which we did with our dog. We will certainly be back to this site.

Brill site. Great for dog walks. Great for kids and super staff. Superb pitches. Just a top site all round. Close to shops and easy to get too. Very central for touring around. Nothing bad about it. Oh and very good wifi

This was a beautifully maintained site adjacent to the town of Grantown-on-Spey which is just a short walk from the site. We had booked a super pitch (large hardstanding with water and drainage) we were also given a loan of a satellite receiver box with HDMI lead and cable to connect to the aerial point. Free wifi was excellent and allowed multiple devices. There are 2 toilet blocks which were very clean and well maintained. There are walking/cycling paths (Strathspey Way and Dava Way) by the site. There is a children’s playpark on site. Although on the expensive side at £30 per night we found it well worth it. There are a small number of non-serviced pitches as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Best to book at weekends as it was very busy over the May weekend we were there.

We have stayed on this site on several occasions and been very happy with it. Both the site and facilities are first class, and contrary to some other reviews, we found the staff friendly and helpful.
However, we made the mistake of going at the start of half term. Previously we found the site quiet and peaceful, but this time, possibly because of the unusually good October weather, the site filled with families and their children. It seemed to be the case of, we're here now, go and play and don't bother us. At least, things settled down as it got dark.
Apart from that, we discovered more walks in the area and completed some more short sections of the Speyside way. Travel links to Inverness, Aviemore and towns in between are fairly frequent. Great if your lucky enough to have a Scottish bus pass.
The moral of the story is, this is a great site in a fantastic area, but if you like peace and quiet, don't come here on weekends or school holidays.

We travelled Scotland for two weeks, over 2, 000 miles in fact, and although the standard of most sites was brilliant, this was without doubt the best. The site was tidy, organised and the facilities great! The site-team were also very friendly and obliging.
The toilets were very clean as were the showers. We have no doubts in coming back again, what a kick-start to the highlands!

This is a large commercial site with a choice of pitch types. We went for the fully serviced, which is more expensive but comes with free wifi. The site was not too busy when we stayed, we received a friendly welcome and were escorted to our pitch. The town can be walked into, and the old railway line, for dog walking, is just behind the site. The toilet block nearest us was very clean, good showers, and had underfloor heating. A really good site.
