Here for my second visit in a month. Had to give it another opportunity for sun to shine and not disappointed this time.

Nothing different from August, except fewer units on site. Facilities and entire site immaculate with dahlias in full bloom.

Tried a super pitch this time. A bit pricier than I'd like but it is very nice. (Accustomed to ACSI prices in France Off season)

Very well run site.

Absolutely one of the best kept campsites I've ever stayed at. Immaculately clean and good location with a short walk into Grantown on Spey and it's shops and bars. It has to be said that the site is mainly geared toward caravans though, some areas available to camp with EHU which we had. Unfortunately it rained very heavily every day we were there and the field we were on virtually became a paddy field - that was just our lousy luck and I daresay had it been glorious sunshine I would be more inclined to a return visit. Good play park for the kids but, other than the usual washing etc. Provision, there wasn't much else by way of facilities. Great site if peace and quiet is what you're seeking.

Excellent site, immaculately kept. Sanitary facilities spotless. Nice welcome and escort to pitch with guide in. Superb walks from the front door and guide info from reception.

Busy site but it is August. No noise to bother us. Play area for kids.

Short walk to a bonny toon.

Residents around very pleasant on walks and plenty to do in the area.

Would return definitely. Wifi is free 👍🏻

Poor pitch in spite of being on a gold pitch. Right by children's play area which is supposed to close at 8pm. Still screaming at 9pm. Woken at 5. 40am by a car leaving in spite of no movement till 7. 00am. Also cars park on our pitch to use toilet area. Otherwise great proximity to Grantown on Spey.

We stayed her for 9 nights and have mixed feelings about it. The site is well maintained and we had a super pitch which was spacious and at the top end of the site. TV reception was made perfect by the supply of a free connection via a freest box. The pitch however had no grass area and we had hot weather which made it feel a bit like a cauldron. The rest of the site was much more crowded and there was a mix of grass pitches and statics.

The facilities block nearest to our pitch was spacious but by the middle of the day the floors seemed always to be streaming with water from the showers and it was rather gloomy.

The laundry area and washing up area were good.

The dog walk was just behind the site and was a long and quiet disused railway with spurs off into the woods.

Grantown is a half mile walk from the site with the usual Co-op nearby. The hotels, which are the main pubs and eateries, are very traditional and a bit old fashioned. A big plus for wildlife lovers is the Cairngorms National Park with Loch Garten and Abernethy Forest nearby.

The staff were accommodating enough but it would have been nice to have seen the occasional smile. Another caravanner we spoke to summed it up nicely when she said she thought it was all a bit 'clinical'.

We would go back for the location and dog walking.

Very friendly & efficient site. Great pitches, not too crowded, although it was Nov when we visited. Big site and excellent facilities, very clean, great showers. Town is a short walk away, hotels were best for a drink, we visited the Indian Restaurant at the top of the road from the site, excellent food.
