Lovely peaceful campsite with lovely scenery and spean river running along the edge. A short scenic drive from spean bridge and fort William. Very accommodating couple running this site that were always on hand and very helpful. Shower blocks were clean and tidy, laundry room with fridge freezer and a handy drying room. I would definitely stay at this site again.

Wow! What a fantastic site! We absolutely loved Bunroy. Tucked away in Roy Bridge down a quiet country road is a little piece of heaven! We stayed a week at this site, and we wish it could have been more!

The site is small but perfect- the facilities are well kept, showers are lovely and warm, and there is a small fridge and freezer (for cool packs)Washing machines and a drying room are available should the weather take a turn.

On the banks of the river Spean, overlooked by snow capped mountains, the wildlife is a feast for the eyes- eagles, owls, finches etc. The dog walks through the woods are lovely- (there are two ways you can go! Be sure to use both!) Fishing is quite good at this location too, and the other half was esctatic he caught his first wild brown trout here. (If you plan to fish, take your waders- it's deeper than it looks!)

The little shop at the top of the road is well stocked with basics, and there is a little cafe too. Spean Bridge is well worth a visit, and there is a bigger shop here. (About 3 miles) Fort William is only about 12 miles away too. Also, there is Lochaber farm shop (follow signs for the nevis range) This little shop is well worth a visit! The crafts and sticks are at very reasonable prices, and the venison is delicious and reasonably priced! Most meat produce is frozen, but if left in a coolbox overnight, it does defrost for the next day. If you get a haunch joint like we did, wrap it in foil and cook on a barbeque for about two hours, it is delicious!

All in all, this site is a piece of heaven in a great central location! We absolutely loved it, and the dog adored swimming!

Midges are a nightmare, but Skin so soft kept them in check. Also, our smaller dog suffered with the midges too- we used drops of tea tree oil around her collar, and rubbed SSS on her ears and tummy. This helped her a lot, and she smelled lovely! (DON'T GET THE OIL ON THE DOGS SKIN!)

We loved this site! It can get busy on certain days (obviously) but we loved this site! We will be returning! It is worth a mention, it is a requirement dogs are kept on a lead, but free reign is allowed in woodland areas etc. (Some people didn't stick to this causing problems with reactive dogs)

We visited this site in May this year we found the the site wardens to be very welcoming and friendly, the scenery around the site was lovely and there were plenty of places to walk our little dogs. All the facilities were of a high standard especially the washrooms and toilets. We would have loved to stay longer but were were touring had had other places booked. We could recommend this site to anyone that wants a peaceful break.

Two adults stayed in a campervan for two nights in the middle of April with electric.

The main thing for me is the lack of lighting on the road down to the campsite. The reason why I noticed that on arrival was because we were planning on going up to the Stronlossit Inn for food and I became worried about walking back in the dark.

The man who greeted us was wonderful. He was a lovely older man who seemed a wee bit eccentric.

There was a meet-up on the bottom part of the site so the man gave us a lovely pitch at the top. It was all gravel and flat. We found it to be quite a large pitch but as we didn't have an awning or a car, then our opinion is a bit skewed.

The train station can take you to Fort William then on to Mallaig but times are a bit awkward (not the campsites fault obviously). As a result, we drove to Fort William and then caught the train there.

There is a pub nearby but it was very busy and we waited for over an hour to get served then another 40 - 50 minutes for the food to arrive.

The surrounding villages are quite cute and the scenery is brilliant.

The toilets were clean and well-stocked. I can't remember much about it other than that so they must have been okay.

Very cute campsite. The man we spoke to was absolutely lovely and very endearing. This campsite is definitely on our holiday list for a return visit in the future.

One night this week. 21 for hook-up, 2 adults, 2 kids and motorhome. Small site but really nice and quiet.

Good reception with plenty of info.

Toilet block small but very clean and plenty of hot water. Real showers too !

Went for dinner at Stronlossit Inn. Not much happening and menu was a little small. Main courses of 2 different venison dishes, burger and fish, a pudding, and drinks. 51. Sufficient and flavoursome without being very good.

Great, well thought out, well maintained campsite. This is surprisingly refreshing price in comparison to some of the others round Fort William as well and in a much nicer location. Small with just two fields but the grass is well maintained and there is perfect wash facilities.

Showers were lovely and hot and plentiful with a plug for your hair dryer, toilets well cleaned, freezer to freeze your ice block as well as drying room after a day out in the wet. There are books and information and games to borrow for free and you can use their wifi for 20 minutes for free.

Lots of water taps around the site so you never have to go far. Walking distance to local pub (although we didn't use it) and easy driving distance to mountains and Fort William Morrisons.

You can walk your dog out of the bottom of the site along the river for them to have a wade in during better weather but be prepared for the midges that plague Scotland. We found Avon skin so soft and burning a citronella candle worked for us. However I would say this site didn't have as many midges as some of the others we went to so a huge plus for us!
