Wow wow what a brilliant site, toilet block faultless as with everything about this site, local shopping great very central for visiting places we had 4nights here on the way to a 5 week Holiday and have booked back on our return drive home for a further 3 nights cannot think of a better way to spend our last few nights away,

Right from the start I had a feeling this would be a cracking site! Booked online initially but had to change our dates due to a death in the family. The campsite owner couldn't have been more helpful, for which we were really grateful.

We arrived a bit before 12noon but had a wonderful welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a lovely hard standing pitch a short walk from the central toilet/shower block, which was always spotless as was the rest of the site.

The site is a short walk to a Harvester, KFC, large Asda, B&Q, Pets At Home and Home Bargains so if you forget anything you're pretty well covered here! You can also walk into the pretty spa town of Cheltenham from the site (the campsite owner gave us a fantastic route through parkland and via the old railway line!). It's just over 2 miles (each way) but flat and easy. Cheltenham is a beautiful town too with lots to see and do. The bus stop, right outside the site, also takes you into Cheltenham. It also runs to Gloucester (every 10 minutes) and is fantastic value at 5 for a day rider ticket that you can use as many times as you like into both Cheltenham & Gloucester (right up to midnight!). Gloucester is a great city, with plenty to see and do, including Gloucester Quays and docks, the cathedral and many parks and gardens. Well worth a visit.

We would not hesitate to recommend this campsite. Being adults only is a massive bonus for us. Yes, there is some road noise from the main road outside the site but only during the day. For us it gets top marks on everything and we cannot wait to go back.

Facilities clean, modern, with hot water available at all times, convenient to the tenting area. The supermarket in walking distance and the nearby bus services into Cheltenham and Gloucester were useful.

The owner was very helpful and the surrounding area had plenty to offer. Very reasonably priced and thoroughly recommended.

What a gem and great for visiting Gloucester and Cheltenham. The best shower block we have ever encountered and a lovely lady in reception who, together with her adorable Labrador, couldn't have been more helpful. We were there in April and it was probably two thirds full so would advise booking ahead for summer months. Very reasonable prices, busses right outside the gate and surprisingly little noise bearing in mind location on a main road.

Small and well kept site with hardstanding pitches. Very friendly and nicely laid out. Site allows dogs. Showers and toilets central with pitches around outside. Bus stop outside site to Cheltenham and Gloucester.

We spent 4 nights here. We were given a very warm welcome and information about local amenities and the bus stops outside the site, one way to Cheltenham and the other to Gloucester. We paid 10 for the barrier fob (refundable). And then given a sheet of paper with some information and a map of the site and shown where our pitch was. The electric is rated at 10 amps. The pitch we were on was tarmac and a gravel area for awning. The amenity block is warm and spotlessly clean. There are 5 showers in the ladies of the push button type but reasonable flow between pushes and there are individual wash cubicles. There is a laundry room and washing up sinks. We visited Bourton on the water which is very pretty and not too far away. As has been said there are quite a few aircraft flying into nearby Staverton, but only during the day so not a problem. There is a large Asda store a 5/10 minute walk away, there is a Harvester restaurant and KFC slightly nearer, there is also Home Bargains, B&Q and Pets at home near the park and ride in the same area. Being adult only is a bonus and we will definitely visit again. It would be an ideal stopover to break a drive down to Devon or Cornwall. Much recommended.
