Booked online which was so easy. We arrived later than expected but the staff were brilliant and helped us onto our pitch. Site is fantastic, a short walk to Kirkby Lonsdale, surrounded by beautiful countryside and spotlessly clean. Only had a few days stay but will definitely return.

We used the site as a base to cycle, walk and visit National Trust properties in the area. The site is only 10 minutes from the M6 but so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended.

We don't normally go for organised sites with lots of facilities. However, after staying here for 3 nights at the end of the season, we agreed that this is the best site we have ever stayed on. The pitches, as well as the toilets and showers are spacious, well thought out and well equipped. It is a fairly large site, but it is divided into sections, so that you only see a bit at a time and it feels very relaxed. Lots of walks in the surrounding area, and a short pleasant walk into Kirkby Lonsdale. Staff were friendly and helpful. We're already planning a return trip when it reopens next year!

What a lovely site just a couple of minutes walk to devils bridge and ten to fifteen minutes into Kirkby Lonsdale where there are some lovely shops and eateries. The site is very well maintained the showers and toilets are pristine and the staff are all very friendly and helpful would definitely return.

Had as lovely 3 night stay at this site. Despite the site Being full and it being a bank holiday weekend it was calm and peaceful.

Facilities are great and site very well maintained.

A pleasant walk to Devils Bridge and into Kirkby

Lonsdale with its shops cafes and pubs.

A bacon buttie and mug of tea at Devils Bridge is a must!

Brilliant site! Friendly owners who showed us to a fully serviced pitch. Toilets, showers, etc all immaculate. Had my daily paper delivered to the site which I could read while eating a freshly baked croissant.

Just a 10 min walk into Kirkby Lonsdale via the Devils Bridge.

Great value for money and would return if in the area.

What a fantastic, value for money site! We stayed for 3 nights at the end of June, mid-week. The site was quiet, relaxed ideal for us as we also had a dog with us. At arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful, showing us to our hard-standing pitch and taking the time to orientate us and tell us where all the dog walks were. The campsite is immaculate throughout and with first class facilities. Very good value for money and a lot cheaper than comparable sites elsewhere. Being an easy walk of half a mile or so along the river Lune into Kirkby Lonsdale and with other adjacent walks for exercising the dog, we felt this campsite was as good as it gets anywhere. And we're the kind of people who enjoy our solitude rather getting onto campsites normally!
