I have just come back from a fabulous 4 day break at Low Farm Camping, with my family - 19 of us camping, and 2 in a holiday cottage which was a 2 min walk away from where we were camped. The site is beautiful and very rural, we had trouble choosing the right pitch because there were so many lovely spots to choose from! The toilet block is large and was always clean. The only slight niggle I would have is that there isn't many showers, but we never had to queue so it was no bother to us. The owner Lesley is lovely, she just left us on our own the entire time, but was very helpful and friendly when we needed her. Thanks Lesley for taking our parcel too ! We would highly recommend the campsite and cottage and are looking forward to returning next year.

5 star location with lovely pitches and walks from campsite and also not far from the Maybush inn which serves great food and drink. However 1 star for facilities. Plenty of toilets and sinks but not particularly clean. Main problem was the showers, only 2 female and 2 male and 1 grubby disabled were available. Struggled to get temperature right for our 3 year old grandaughter and it was either scalding hot or ice cold. Also had to queue for ages to use one of the 2 washing up sinks. Such a shame as these issues could so easily be improved. Also no childs playground. Love the area but not sure we would go back to this site again.

Discovered this site a couple of years ago and are always made to feel welcome when we return.

Yes, this is not an all bells and whistles site, but it is generally peaceful and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We generally go for an electric hook up pitch overlooking the Nature area and have no complaints.

The new WC and shower facilities are adequate rather than fancy (housed in portable buildings) and reflect the competitive pitch pricing. There are fantastic walks along the river, complete with boat trips and a fantastic pub serving great meals. This remains one of our favourite weekend getaway sites.

This is a well serviced site in a beautiful part of the world, with lovely walks along fields and the river. The new loos and showers are great and there a lots of different sorts of spaces for pitching. Jack - the owner I think - was very helpful.

A bit concerned about what we would find after reading some reviews but decided to book because of the location and also that we could take our caravan and my daughter and boyfriend could book a pod for a couple of nights. I needn't have worried as the owner was very helpful by giving us a pitch as close to the pod as possible. The site was very natural with different areas where tents could hide away amongst the trees and bushes and not manicured at all which is how we like it. The pod was clean and tidy and also had camp beds which we weren't expecting. They was a lot of space between the pods and were located in the wildlife area. The toilets and showers appeared fairly new with plenty of hot water and were always clean from first thing in the morning. There were aspects that could do with updating, eg the signage and the old toilet block is still there, although cordoned off, but these by no means detracted from the rest of the site. The village of Waldringfield is on the banks of the river Deben with a superb pub overlooking it. We took our Canadian canoe and launched it off the slipway and paddled to Woodbridge one day and down to Felixstowe Ferry on another, stopping off at The Ramsholt pub on the way ( for a coffee!). A great location if you enjoy sailing as well. All in all a lovely and relaxing quiet site and good value.

Stayed at Low Farm twice in July and was suitably impressed with the site. After checking in you go and find your own area for camping on the huge unspoiled site, whether you are on hook up or not the choice is yours. The site has male and female shower and toilet buildings which are kept clean at all times. Also on site are 4 pods which are quite basic but are available to rent at a very reasonable price. Low Farm also sports a number of cottages which are renovated to a very high standard and are available to rent all year at very good prices. The manager was more than happy to show us round one of the cottages no problem at all. A 15-20 minutes walk takes you to the waterfront where there is a pub with an excellent menu. The nearest shop is Tesco which is about 10 minutes drive on the A12. All in all this is a very good campsite with very reasonable prices and one I will use again.
