A pleasant site by the side of a working farm.
Fine facilities away from peak season; have never been in peak to see how they cope.
Toilets and showers always clean and fresh.
Good hardstanding pitches for the damper months.
Servicing etc available from caravan workshop 'next door'.
Friendly and helpful staff with lots of countryside savvy.
Excellent access to moors for easy or more demanding walks.
Excellent access to coast too for all-year seaside walks, coastal paths etc.

Stayed here for the weekend. Lovely quiet little site. The pitch we had was sloping and we had to borrow some wood to level the jockey wheel as I didn't have enough, but this was a minor thing and there are plenty of level pitches ( if they available).
Kids enjoyed feeding the hens and enjoyed the pool, which was a lovely addition. Don't get caught breaking the pool rules though. The owner will be on your case!
All in all a very good little campsite which we will book again. Conveniently located just 10 mins from the A38. Just a word of warning, don't take the route along the unclassified road leading towards the farm that our sat nav took us. It's only 1/2 mile long and I risked it, luckily didn't meet other traffic & it was just wide enough! If coming from the A38 take the road signed to Teigngrace!

This is quite a nice site but very, very busy! They appear to run a strange system as even if you specify a certain type of pitch when booking, it depends what's available upon your arrival! We were a little unlucky as whilst we were there half a dozen families arrived with large tents and loads of hyperactive children - hence the toilets and showers were usually awash with abandoned toilet paper and water! We gave up and decided to use our own facilities on this occasion. A great pity as this could be a good site if the owners were a little more diligent.

A pleasant site in easy reach of shops in Newton Abbot. Care is needed on the approach road which is quite narrow. Ideal for a family holiday, with a very nice swimming pool area.
The shower and toilet area in the main block were fine and there is an additional smaller facility which I chose not to use because of the mess fellow campers left behind.
The owners were friendly and helpful, and if reception is closed they are available at the house at the end of the drive.
The majority of pitches were on grass and slightly sloping. Not many were suitable for large motorhomes. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed here in July 2012, one of the wettest weeks in 2012, not the sites fault and considering it was so wet the site wasn't too bad. Obviously the pitch turned into a mud bath within a few days and was most unpleasant but again not the sites fault, but maybe some better previsions could be put in place as being a sloping site some cars struggled to get up and down the grass without sliding.
Toilet/shower block felt dated and I found to be dirty and looking the same day after day which led me to think that they weren't cleaned very often at all, in a week I never saw anyone cleaning them.
Swimming pool was ok, I wouldn't call it heated but we braved the pool and as the site wasn't very busy managed to get it to ourselves. There is no where to leave your stuff, no lockers, changing room etc so you have to walk to the pool in your swim wear and leave your towel on a chair.
One of the main reasons we chose this site was the fishing, do not go to this site if you want fishing!
The fishing is not on site, there are 2 pools, 1 pond was completely unfishable, we found this out after walking through fields of cows, in my opinion very dangerous, the pond was full and I mean full of weeds, the area around was overgrown, the pond was not maintained, even if it wasn't full of weeds there was no where to sit. The 2nd pond is a little walk/drive down the narrow country roads, if you drive there is no where to park, and it's too far to walk and carry all your stuff. When you do get there you see a gate with a label 'Cuation, live stock, keep out' you have to open this gate and walk across a massive field through cows again to get the the pond, on the way back through the 2nd time we got charged by a cow, I can tell you now we didn't go back and wasted the £20 they charged to 'fish'. Oh, and if walking throgh cows wasn't bad enough it was barely walkable it was so unbelievably muddy it was near impossible to walk through.
The site itself is pleasant and quiet enough though.
We wouldn't return as we didn't get a completely warm welcome and the facilities we went for were not what we expected.
Don't get me wrong it's a nice site, but don't expect too much when you get there.

Excellent site will definitely visit again. Lovely friendly service on arrival.
The owners are lovely.
A beautiful site, clean and spacious. The toilets and showers clean at all times and lovely hot water.
There is a little shop on site.
Bus service is poor so we hired a car from teigngrace car hire and we explored all the towns and little villages.
Huge carboot at Newton Abbott
Fishing is excellent, lovely cropped areas to sit in comfort,
Open swimming pool lovely clean and warm at all times.
Kids really enjoyed the mini village, marble museum, bygone museum etc the list is endless. There is a bike tract at Teignmouth so we are glad we took the fold up scooters.
We saw a fab firework display at Dawlish.
The only thing lacking is a local pub and somewhere for the kids to hang out.
But despite the weather we would defo go again
