Ok a great site for getting away from the rat race. This was my 3rd visit to the site, first went there in the early 80's as a young teen and loved it then and still love it now. The staff are friendly/ the site in general is clean (just remind the dog owner to be more aware of mess)/ my little boy loved running around the site so felt safe/ pitch in a back field was great for watching the sun setting/ the local village friendly and the 2 pubs have a fine beer and and local cider

We had a wonderful week at this site, the weather made it even better! This is a really good site with loads of space and excellent views, the staff were very good, let us choose a pitch anywhere we wanted, we chose one at the top of the field, quite a hike from the excellent and beautifully kept toilet block, but the view was best from there. The site is very convenient for all the attractions of Torbay, and five minute`s drive away from Sainsbury`s Paignton. The only slight downside of this site are the narrow approach roads, I was OK as my caravan is only 4. 5 mtrs, but I think you would probably struggle with a big outfit, however there were quite a few big `vans on site so perhaps it`s not too bad. All in all a very good site with excellent facilities and a beautiful location and one we will definitely be coming back to.

This is a lovely campsite, well maintained and with very good facilities. It is a beautiful area, ideally placed for beaches and places of interest, and proves to be a nice relaxing site to return to in the evening. The owners are helpful and friendly. Once we selected our perfect spot, they lent me a hook-up extension so we could stay there at no extra cost. The 2nd week there coincided with the start of the school holidays so the nature of the park changed with an increase in children on site. The weather helped, but we are already considering a return next year - it was that good.

Just returned from broadleigh campsite after enjoying 7 glorious days. A beautiful campsite well looked after site, beautiful showers and toilets very clean and well kept never had to queue for toilets or showers.

Beautiful scenery and not far from paignton and the lovely village of stoke Gabriel. A pleasure to leave great reviews of a lovely site. Staff very polite and helpful and the grounds are kept immaculate plenty of electrical hook ups

Stayed at Broadleigh for three nights right at the end of their opening season, the large open camping area is fairly sloping but we were able to find level pitches with electric hook ups at the top of the field which gave us good views of the rolling South Hams countryside.

Only saw the owners briefly when we arrived but they seemed friendly, the Facilities block was modern and well laid out but unfortunately was quite dirty and not cleaned during our stay.

Stoke Gabriel is about fifteen minutes walk and has two pubs, a shop and a cafe down by the river. Totnes is only a few miles away and is a lovely little town with loads of small shops and cafes.

To sum up. A nice site in a lovely part of Devon, very good value (12. 50 a night) only let down by the grubby facilities block.

Just got back from one of the best sites in Devon.

Do you want peace and quiet, rolling hill views, the most helpful management that you are likely to meet, free showers and washing facilities that are clean and modern, many pitches with reliable 240V power available, 'acres' of room between pitches and lots of free space on the fields for children and their activities ?

Don't go there if you want a clubhouse and shop on site.

But you are a few miles from everything you may want. Head east a few miles and you will pass supermarkets on the way to all the fun and facilities and beaches of Torquay and Brixham etc. But if the kids like 'crabbing' ( all the kit necessary available at the small snack-bar at the mill pond in Stoke-Gabriel ) and you like messing about in small boats, then the tidal inlet at Stoke-Gabriel would take some beating. We used it to float a 'blow-up' boat ( not the Al-Qaeda sort ) and motored on the River Dart to Totnes ( up river ) and Dittisham and Dartmouth ( down river ) marvellous.

If you can't have one of the best holidays here then you are not really trying !
