A beautiful spot but had that end of season uncared for feel. We were initially sent to a tiny pitch that was crammed in amongst 4-5 others. Disappointing for a 4* site we thought especially as we had booked well in advance. There was no problem when we asked to move and we found a much more suitable spot and could even see a bit of the lake. Outdoor pool though pretty view was as last time we visited very cold. The nearest toilet block was most odd. Urinal on view as you approached and only 3 unisex loos. Not cleaned that regularly either. The showers were excellent having sinks hair drier etc but oddly no cubicles with just a sink and mirror. Washing up facilities excellent and water very hot. Try the cycle rout round the lake at your peril. Excellent till you reach the 3k of rocks to scramble over clearly a work in progress.

We stayed here for three nights in August 2013. Facilities are excellent, shop, restaurant, bar/brasserie, pool. Pitches vary in size, we had a huge one but many are sloping and those with a view of the lake tend to be quite small. The site is in a beautiful spot, on the lake with many water sports available. There was a plentiful supply of hot water and the showers worked well.

Unfortunately, unlike another site in the same group, this one gave an air of being uncared for. Rather scruffy overall and there seemed to be a lack of staff. The Bar/Brasserie did not open until 3 in the afternoon (the info said 2pm). No morning drinks, no lunches, no coffee before 3. Very hard to understand.

Just about 4 star but could/should be better.

This site has stunning views of the lake from the terrace & outside pool. Very few pitches have views of lake. It's a short walk down to the lake where's there's a sailing club & people fishing.

As mentioned previously the pitches are very small. It was wet when we arrived & most people had great difficulty in getting onto the pitches. Many of the the big motorhomes struggled to fit onto the space provided, as did the larger caravans. Watching a couple in their brand new motorhome having to be towed off a pitch (that they couldn't fit onto) & hitting a tree on the way to another pitch made me feel very sorry for them. We refused to take our allocated pitch as it was all mud & uneven, we also refused the 2nd option as our elevating roof hit the tree above, so we told them where we wanted to go and that was fine. It's an expensive site because of the 2 pools, restaurant, bar etc, but more attention should be paid to the size & condition of the pitches, which is where you spend most of your time.

We visited this site as it was the closest site to Besancon recommended by the Caravan Club that would take two dogs. It had been raining heavily and some of the pitches were boggy and we were put in a very small pitch with a partial view of the lake. It was essential to use our mover due to limited access and we were glad our caravan is only 5 metres. Any longer and we would have had a problem. We visited Besancon but wish we hadn't as it is a building site at the moment and not worth the 90km drive. Langres however, the local town is very nice and is an interesting walled town with wonderful views.

We too used this site for a 2 night stay on our way south. It was a good site with everything you need for that first stop over, let me explain.

The pool was open late so you could have a refreshing dip on arrival.

10 amp EHU so everything works !

Restaurant with a good choice of delicious food, smiling staff and good prices.

Wander down to the Lake and there is a nice place to eat and drink.

Bouncy castle, Trampoline and you are made.

Pitches are Snug and Shop has bread and essentials.

Langres is suppose to be lovely but we had good sun so the pool beckoned !

Showers may not be 4 star I have to admit

Well placed for going South, excellent for an overnight stop. Lovely location, overlooking the lake - some pitches can be tight for a twin-axle or slightly larger unit, but we managed to find a suitable spot for our twin axle.

Overall well maintained, views fantastic staff very helpful. Surrounding area very pretty, have only used this site going South and heading North, but is worthy of a much longer stay.
