Recently returned from a 6 night stay. Lovely welcome with a cuppa from Jon & Terri who went through a few ground rules for the site. Most are what you find on other sites, they do lock the gate at 11pm which we didn't find an issue unlike some who have commented on some sites as being like Bodmin prison! You are given the choice of leaving if you don't like the rules which we felt fair.

Jon gave us a choice of pitches and we stayed in the 2nd field which is a fair walk to the toilet and shower block. The toilet and shower block is new and spotlessly clean, the men's not quite finished. Unfortunately there is no washing up facilities or laundry The site is dog friendly and they have a large field to run around in. Jon & Terri can tell you all about the local area and will give you all the directions. The site is well placed for attractions like the Eden project and seaside towns like Bude & Newquay. Overall it is a lovely adult only site. The only downfall is probably the B road that runs along side the site as it can be busy and sometimes noisy.

What a warm and friendly welcome we received at this site from John and Terri. Tea or coffee on arrival and water for our dog while we waited for a personal tour of the site to choose from a variety of pitches. Shown the new toilet block which is 5 star. A few rules, but nothing that put us off, not the place for loud get togethers, or late nights at the local, which is only fair to everyone. The site has the most beautiful views, and the dogs have a large green field right in front of the pitches which runs downhill. There are picnic tables available. Close to Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac The only downside is that there are no washing up facilities for those in tents. Very well kept site, informative and welcoming hosts.

Decided on this site as we wanted to visit specific places in North Cornwall. The owners are friendly helpful and welcome you with a cuppa after your journey.

The owners don't tolerate late night noise or campers intimidating their neighbours, they expect good manners so everyone can have a peaceful (child free) break at the site. Dogs are welcome and they have a lovely area to run free in, we are dog lovers and enjoyed watching them being exercised and 99. 5% of owners cleared up after their dogs but there are always the exceptions who let them out early morning to mess where they liked.

There is a newly built 75% in use new stone building, more centrally placed on the site, this is built and tiled out to a high standard. The are 3 toilets and showers in the ladies with hand and hair dryer.

We returned to this site for the 5th year. We choose Rosebud because we enjoy the pleasant atmosphere created by the owners John and Terri. They are friendly helpful and welcoming and go beyond the call of duty in helping people when asked, equally they leave you to get on with your break with no interference if you observe the sensible rules.

Site improvements: Previous years the shower and loo facilities were basic but always clean and we found them adequate - nothing to complain about. Now there is a newly built 75% in use new stone building, more centrally placed on the site, this is built and tiled out to a high standard, well done to John great job - all put together with his own hard work. We are sure next year the whole project will be complete. The current status though increases already the number of showers from 2 to 5, when complete will be even more. There are also hand and hair dryers installed. Great site for a base for enjoying north cornwall or just chilling. Stay away if you love to party late on site making a load of noise, or arrive back after 11pm. Stay away if you are looking for on site bars or any kind of on site entertainment.

Returned to this wonderful site for a whit week break, with our two dogs. Since our last visit there has been a new toilet/shower block built which is positively to a 5* standard. The owners Terri and Jon work non stop on site making sure that the site is immaculate. They are a lovely couple and always ready with a cuppa on arrival. The pitches are of a generous size with open spaces for the dogs to run and breathtaking views from the pitches. This is an adults only site and a haven for total relaxation with a glass of wine watching the rabbits from the pitches that appear early evening. Will definitely be returning for a third visit.

Wow what a fabulous site, from the stunning views to the welcoming cup of tea. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers with more about to go into service.

What is really special about this site is the relaxed and calm approach to camping, yes sensible rules ensure everyone enjoys the site and well behaved dogs are allowed to meet and greet without always being tied to a short lead, campers talk to each other far more than the regimented club sites and there's space to enjoy and breathe in the fresh air.

This was our first short visit, but we look forward to seeing Jon and Terri again and sharing their beautiful park.

I've very rarely given 10:10 in a review but this park, the atmosphere and Jon & Terri deserve it.
