Well situated for exploring local attractions Port Issac and Tintagel/coastal walking.

Easy to find with good access to the site.

We booked via the phone as our local internet was intermittent. So hadn't read any reviews only read the information in our camping and caravanning club book.

Arrived at 19. 30hrs, pulled into what we thought may have been a pitch, then we were then approached by a man asking us if we were the Jackson's, (turned out to be the proprietor). My husband extending his hand in greeting, only to be met with the waving of the proprietors arms and informing us to leave as our booking had been cancelled. We were confused and taken back by this greeting. Thought this was a joke. But wasn't. He went on to say we HAD to arrive between 12 noon and six pm, and that it is all over their web site. We went on to explain that the entire booking had been done from our camping and caravan sites book and telephone as our internet was poor and no where did it state about the arrivals rule, in our book. He relented and let us stay. We were then joined by his wife, who further questioned us about our late arrival! He then insisted on going through a tour of facilities at twilight!

The next morning he came to our caravan to ask us to come to read the rules' and settle up. We obliqued but felt like naughty children, and still trying to push the point about the arrival times and it being a quiet site.

On the plus side, the new toilet block is well set out and very clean.

The road behind the site is only a B road, but is noisy for most of the day. As its a link road between A39 and the coast,

Good local pubs with amazing friendly staff and excellent service and good food. (The white hart in st teath, the poldark Inn at Delabole).

We are very unassuming people and don't want to upset anyone by not conforming to the site rules, but felt the hostile reception was unwarranted.

We have just spent a very relaxing week on this adult campsite, if you're looking for spacious pitches, beautiful views of Bodmin Moor and easy access to the rugged North Cornwall coast this is it. This is our 3rd visit and we were pleased to see the new shower block up and running finally. Choice of supermarkets at Wadebridge and Camelford. Both the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project within an hours drive.

Terri and Jon are very welcoming and happy to assist in any way they can.

Looking forward to next year and bringing the dogs

Just got back from another fabulous holiday at Rosebud Farm Touring Park in St Teath, Cornwall. St Teath is a beautiful village with a good local pub The White Hart serves good food, friendly atmosphere, dog friendly and beer garden The village also has a good butchers perfect for bbq's, a well stocked shop full of essentials and open until 8 pm and the recently opened coffee shop.

Camping at Rosebud Farm Touring Park ~ If loud music, bar on site with entertainment and swimming pool on site is what you require from a holiday, then this is not the site for you. However if you too want a calm, quiet, tranquil adult only site which is extremely dog friendly then this is the perfect place for you to enjoy your holiday. The views over rolling countryside are breathtaking. The site is clean, beautiful and not packed with campers ( unlike many other sites). You may choose your own pitch on the perimeter of either the larger or the smaller of the two fields and the centre of the larger fields is reserved for dogs to enjoy some off lead fun!

Jon and Terri are a wonderful couple who make you feel at home within minutes. You'll be offered refreshments upon arrival which is always welcoming after a long journey. Last year we were anxious about having a pitch without paying either in full or a deposit but we need not have worried as our pitch was booked and we were shown the facilities and site and it's only when your happy with these that you make your payment. What a refreshing and great idea.

The bathroom and toilets are fantastic. The new installation of washing facilities are clean, beautifully presented and to a high standard and were installed by Jon and Terri themselves.

Jon and Terri are always available for helpful advice regarding places to visit, directions etc, they are warm and friendly.

Camping here gave us the holiday we needed a wonderful, calming holiday to totally relax and unwind for us this place is a piece of paradise on earth and our energetic Boxer enjoys her holiday here too.

Thank you Jon and Terri once again we had a fabulous holiday that you and your site create. Looking forward to seeing you both next year.

This was our second visit. We returned primarily for the dog friendliness of this site (Dora loves chasing the rabbits and playing with other dogs in the field), and because of the lovely unobstructed views(pitches only allowed around edge of field). Big pitches, so not crammed in. It is a very relaxing and peaceful site:no car doors slamming in the early or late hours (gate locked from 11pm-9am); Adults only, and groups of friends not allowed, so no worries about noisy neighbours pitching next to you. Helpful and unobtrusive owners who ensure that campers respect the ethos of the site and aren't afraid to challenge people who do- makes a pleasant change. The new toilet/shower block was spotless. Great food in the village pub (dog friendly). The other campers on both our visits have been very friendly- (lots of dog walking gatherings in the field). Would like to see some washing up facilities, but that's the only thing that would improve it for us.

Recently returned from a 6 night stay. Lovely welcome with a cuppa from Jon & Terri who went through a few ground rules for the site. Most are what you find on other sites, they do lock the gate at 11pm which we didn't find an issue unlike some who have commented on some sites as being like Bodmin prison! You are given the choice of leaving if you don't like the rules which we felt fair.

Jon gave us a choice of pitches and we stayed in the 2nd field which is a fair walk to the toilet and shower block. The toilet and shower block is new and spotlessly clean, the men's not quite finished. Unfortunately there is no washing up facilities or laundry The site is dog friendly and they have a large field to run around in. Jon & Terri can tell you all about the local area and will give you all the directions. The site is well placed for attractions like the Eden project and seaside towns like Bude & Newquay. Overall it is a lovely adult only site. The only downfall is probably the B road that runs along side the site as it can be busy and sometimes noisy.

What a warm and friendly welcome we received at this site from John and Terri. Tea or coffee on arrival and water for our dog while we waited for a personal tour of the site to choose from a variety of pitches. Shown the new toilet block which is 5 star. A few rules, but nothing that put us off, not the place for loud get togethers, or late nights at the local, which is only fair to everyone. The site has the most beautiful views, and the dogs have a large green field right in front of the pitches which runs downhill. There are picnic tables available. Close to Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac The only downside is that there are no washing up facilities for those in tents. Very well kept site, informative and welcoming hosts.
