This site is set in forest area so is very pretty and quiet.
The camping areas are across the road from the main facilities which helps keep the site peaceful.
Cars are not allowed to park next to the pitches but have their own parking areas close by. This is good for the peace and quiet but not so good if the car is used for storage.
The sanitary units are large and clean. The hot showers are free as is the water for washing up!
Entry is by an electronic pass so there is no danger of unwanted visitors.
The reception is clean with friendly staff and a gift shop. On arrival you get a good information pack with shop opening times, activity times, doctors information etc. They do a free ice pack exchange but only with their own packs. The deposit is €2.50 per pack but this is refunded when they are returned.
The store is well stocked with freshly baked bread everyday and the prices were not too bad! They sell all the basics plus beer, cigarettes and much more.
There is a hire shop if you want to hire a bicycle, BBQ and a few other things.
There are 2 places to eat. One is a fast food shop for fries, ice cream etc and the other is a resturant/cafe which also sells cold beer.
There is also a pub with a pool table.
The indoor swimming pool is warm and very clean. Not the biggest pool but big enough and has floats and is watched by camera and lifeguards so children can go and have fun without parents if they want and will be safe. The outside pool is shallow and has fountains etc for the little ones.There are sunbeds and chairs for those who wish to soak up the sun and stay dry. On the website it looks huge but unfortunatley is not. It is a nice pool though and very well kept. And it is free!
There is a sand area where they play volleyball and other games.
There is a small area to play boules. If you want to play and dont have your own then the reception will provide them free but a deposit must be paid until they are returned.
There are free tennis courts.
There is a large area for football and other games. The site arranges games for the older children everyday.
There is an outdoor theatre area for the little ones. The staff arrange something daily but it will obviously be in Dutch.
There are play areas all over the site but the main one is near the swimming pool and is fantastic with rope slides etc.
There is midget golf at the cost of €2.75 per person but you can play as long as you want. If anyone goes here and can master holes 14 and 16 then way to go. If we persisted then we would still be there lol.
This really is a nice site and we would not hesitate in recommending it !
