We stayed in mid July on a '5 nights.
We arrived at 11am and the owners allowed us to pitch. Owners very friendly and helpful, reception full of tourist information.
The site has a touring field that is reserved for caravans and tents only, this comprises of a mixture of hard standings, grassed pitches with gravel strips for wheels and totally grassed pitches. The grass is cut nice and short, the borders are well maintained, ideal for campers.
On site there is a heated shower/ toilet block with free hot showers which is well maintained and kept clean and well stocked. The block also houses a wash up area with an abundance of free hot water.
Locally here is plenty to do, the national park is a couple of miles away.
The site is away from the main road and is promoted as a quiet site and indeed it was very quiet.
We would visit again.

We stayed here for two weeks in August and it was excellent.
Very helpful and friendly people who are willing to spend time to answer your questions.
The pitches were excellent - 100 square meters which provided shade or shelter during wet weather (the locals said it had been a poor summer this year. )
Onsite facilities include a shop selling basic provisions, bread delivered each morning.
Toilet blocks, showers and dishwashing all clean and we never had to wait long. Good pool area, with water heated to a pleasant temperature; which makes it good for families
The location of this campsite was great - really easy to find. Access is OK for larger vans.
We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a very relaxing time. This is a place to relax, with very little going on. Owner was friendly on arrival and we were allowed to choose our own pitch. The pitches were large and enjoyed both shade and sun. High Amps supply, and numerous water points throughout the site. Facilities were excellent. The site has a shop with fresh bread and a few other basic supplies. There are a few supermarkets within 5 min drive. A very clean site and friendly staff. Would definitely go back again.

We spent 12 nights here in August. We loved this site. We had a warm and friendly welcome from the owners who live on site. Reception were very professional, willing to speak English or French, and offered a selection of pitches.
Our pitch was a good 100 m square with water. Ideal for any larger units requiring space. The views over the lake in the mornings and evenings were fantastic; we were lucky to have a pitch on the front overlooking the lake.
Amenity block was clean at all times, with plenty of free hot water and the site was full. The swimming pool is heated and again kept very clean.
The area around has much to offer sightseeing. Small shop offering essentials, fresh bread, croissants every day. Thoroughly recommended !

We stayed on this campsite in July 2010 because the famous “Tour de France” passed nearby. We had an excellent stay ! We had a big pitch with a beautiful view on the Pyrenees. The sanitary equipments are very clean and well maintained. Although the campsite was nearly fully booked we could appreciate the calmness. It’s situated in the picturesque village of Arcizans-Avant. We enjoyed having dinner in its typical French restaurants where you can taste local gastronomy at reasonable prices. For those who like hiking, this is the place to go ! As for us, we’ll certainly go back!
