This is a fairly recently opened municipal site on the outskirts of the ancient town of Coimbra in the northern hills(lots of very interesting sites in the town centre: there are 'buses from outside the campsite to the town and other places: quite regular but not much after 9.30 at night).
Several shower/washing blocs which were kept very clean. Some outdoor games areas which I didn't look into. Small, moderately well stocked shop which was considerably more expensive than the town shops for several things (gas, especially). Has a snack bar and a really good restaurant - not an enormous amount of choice on the menu (it helps if you like fish) but very well cooked and served - plenty of it and not too expensive!
Not a lot nearby so it's either use a car or get back on the last 'bus!
