Booking was easy on email and they responded quickly and answered all my questions. We paid 11 per person and 2 for the dog.

The facilities are spotless and showers are free, although they are the push button type and you cannot adjust the temperature.

Walking from the site is amazing and you can reach Pen Y Fan and the other peaks from the site.

We visited the White Hart and this is a smashing pub next to the canal path and is relaxing watching the boats go by.

There is a small store two minutes walk from the site that sells pretty much everything you will need.

I will be back when next walking the Beacons and recommend this site to all.

Great site that is really well run by the lovely Lydia.

4 camping areas. The main field has electric hook-ups. We stayed in the 'bottom field which was perfect - spacious, peaceful and great views of the sunset on the hills.

The site attracts a good mix of walkers, cyclists, folk doing Duke of Edinburgh expeditions and family/friends groups.

Talybont has 3 pubs which are ok but nothing to write home about. It also has the Travellers Rest which is more of a restaurant - excellent food but you'll need to book as they don't accept walk-ins.

Highly recommend.

I stayed here as a base to walk Pen Y Fan, and visit the Four waterfalls at Ystradfellte. My friend booked the site and all was polite and helpful when he spoke with them.

I arrived separately and met the owner who explained where the facilities were and I paid my 11 for the night for just me in my camper van without hookup. The fee included the very lovely hot and clean showers and toilets and use of the washing up area. The showers were a push button type but they worked fine and this is not a problem at all.

The site is very flat and well laid out wit separate fields for tents, caravan / motorhomes and DofE. Plenty of hookups are available if you require it and there are bins and fresh water taps all over the place.

The site has three pubs right on the doorstep and although I did not use them, my friend did and said they were al great and the food in the Star Inn was great.

The site is very well located for the Brecons and the mountains and we drove for 20 minutes to start the walk up Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big, this is a tough walk, but with the right weather is an absolute belter. Lots mor places of interest are all very close.

This site was very peaceful at night and got full 4g service on both Three and EE.

I would most definitely visit again and will be when I next walk the mountains.

We are having three houses built in front of our house and the noise and dust is pretty bad.

We decided spur of the moment to book in at the above site for a few days and have some peace and quiet.

It is a farm site with huge pitches with conveniently placed water taps and EHU points (no hardstandings) and an area for tents (lots of DOE people use it).

Also an overflow field with no EHU.

Lydia the owner is a lovely, hardworking lady who keeps the showers and toilets spotless.

Just outside the site is a pleasant village with a canal running through it. Nice walks in both directions and also to a reservoir one and a half miles away.

Also in the village is a shop/cafe and a couple of pubs serving good food.

The weather was superb and due to the large pitches, surrounding scenery it all makes for a very relaxing place to spend a few days.

All in all a very pleasant site.

There is nothing negative to say about this campsite. It ticks all the boxes re facilities, location, cleanliness, good showers and we will definitely return. Lydia was so helpful and the camp rules were sensible and adhered to by all.

This was our first stay at Talybont Farm, I had seen it previously on a biking trip to Talybont on usk and thought it looked good.

Really enjoyed our stay, you get plenty of room, and even if every plot is filled it would not feel cramped at all.

The location is great plenty of walks and off road biking from the site, we even hiked to pen y fan from the campsite.

There are great pubs nearby and a nice cafe and shop too.

The toilets and showers are good, warm and with plenty of space in the showers. They were regularly cleaned and were of a good standard. Also there was plenty of washing up facilities, and each caravan plot had a water tap so we did not have to go far for water

There was a fridge freezer for ice packs, and for a small fee a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The staff were friendly and I would not hesitate to stay at Talybont farm again, we loved it
