This was my 4th visit to this site we love it here, the site seems to improve everytime we visit the owners have put a lot of work in, heard a few campers saying there wasn't enough showers, there are only 2 in the ladies and 2 for men could be a couple more but we went at peak time and never had to wait for showers/toilets, fab location close to the shops, pubs etc, my little boy loved the farm animals no complaints from me will definitely be returning

Fantastic caravan/motorhome/tent park.

Owners are so lovely & always find the time to chat to us, nothing is too much trouble.

The pitches are large, hard standing or grass.

Each time you go the owners have improved the site even more.

Farm produce on sale for bbq's.

Tesco & town shopping only couple of minutes walk.

Location is central to lots of site seeing.

The castle on site make it a wonderful back drop to the sunny evenings.

Toilets are always clean & tidy even on the busy bank holiday period, fresh flowers are a lovely touch.

2 showers and always one available every time I went.

Disable toilet is a bonus for my husband.

Very easy to find and if you go through the castle arch it feels very magical.

Lots of farm animals to amuse the family.

The only down side is you have to leave to come home again.

We arrived and went to find the the lady who runs the site she handed me an information sheet which contained information about the site, local area and the site rules, the sheet was an absolute waste of time because many of the other campers on the site either did not read the sheet or choose to ignore the rules, especially the one about walking and running in between pitches, the 6 yard gap between units was not enforced either and some tents and caravans were squashed together.

We were situated across from the amenities block and other campers thought it acceptable to walk through our pitch as a short cut.

The lack of a children's play area means children were running between pitches and kicking footballs really high. A fence or laurel bushes between the pitches would stop this.

After our arrival I never saw the lady who runs the site again and only saw her husband once who did not acknowledge us. This something I am not used to experiencing on small family run sites.

The facilities were adequate and could have been better, the missing lock in one of the toilets in the ladies is a small job that could easily be fixed, and the broken shelf in one of the ladies showers again would not been time consuming to replace or fix.

The owners claim to be proud of the recycling at the site but I saw no evidence of this and the overflowing bins were not a attractive experience especially in the summer heat. There were no recycling bins for us to separate our rubbish into.

The petting farm consisted of a few goats and was a disappointment for our children. It is not as it appears on the website.

The walk from the site up to the ruins of the castle was a nice walk and one we took our dogs on regularly.

On the Saturday evening we were kept awake until well after 12 midnight by loud music coming from the Club House of the adjacent Golf Course. A couple who were staying at the site complained to us that they had been woken up at 6. 00am by Golfers Teeing off, as their Caravan backed onto the first hole of the Golf Course. There was also noise from the lawnmowers

Abergele itself is a small town with a good range of shops and Tesco is now a familiar sight in many small towns.

The beach at Abergele is nice and there is a small amusement arcade and places to buy snacks and ice creams, it is free to park here which is a bonus.

The camp site is easy to find from the A55 and is in a good location to explore the North Wales coast and countryside.

I will not be returning to this campsite.

Just got back from spending a night here. The site was fantastic and we'd definitely come back here. It's very clean and modern and the facilities were just as impressive! Toilet block was clean and modern. Dish wash area was easily accessible and although it took us a while to discover where to get clean drinking water from, we managed to find it with the help from other campers. The area was brilliant for exploring and there was plenty to see and do nearby.

We used this site for our Sunday to Wednesday break. On arrival we were given the option of pitches available, very clean site toilets were clean and tidy and they are free, easy access by two entrances to the site. No shop on the site but there's a tesco just in the town 15 minutes if you walked. We walked down to the nearest beach 30 minutes it took us, and you can drive there and park right next to the beach. We will use the site again and will be taking our grandchildren
