Just spent a week at one of the best sites we have visited, toilets and showers always clean and hot water whatever time you went. Jules checked us in, showed us where everything was and took us to our pitch, she was always available and could be seen about all day. It got very busy over the weekend but everyone was treated with the same courteous welcome, our pitch was at the front so we noticed this more then others. There was the usual basic site rules which everyone kept to, lots of children about but not sound after 10pm. Eggs were available to buy and had to move the chickens one morning to get ours. It was far enough from the town but not that far to walk, Tesco, pubs, eating houses all within 10 minuets walk. Never visited the farm animals but saw lots of children and parents going in. Will visit again and would recommend.

We returned again in our Folding Camper to this great camp site to see further improvements.

Jules welcomed us and showed us to a wonderful roomy grass pitch with EHU.

Had wonderful walks with the dogs, a large park in Sea Road (5 mins walk) a stroll up the drive towards the castle and also to Pensarn Beach.

We will certainly return!

Just as a suggestion, would it be possible to site a bin near the Washing Up area. While we were there someone had left a right mess in one of the sinks, it was cleared by another camper, but may not have occurred if there had been a handy bin.

Lovely clean campsite, cleanest I have stayed on. Nice and quiet, lovely friendly staff and campers. Nice little farm with shop selling fresh eggs and meat. Close local beach and shops. Perfect in every way. Dog friendly too. Beach is about ten minute walk as is tesco and some local pubs. Close enoughh but not too close, still pretty and peacerful campsite with lovely background views of castle and hilss. Campsite is in an old farm building, actually drive in through its walls and archway or round pat donkey field.

This was the first time we ever went camping as a family of 4 (2x adults and 2 x children ages 9 and 4) and we loved it. The camp site itself was in beautiful surroundings and each pitch spaced out perfectly, giving you a feel of privacy, particularly on the XL pitches. The pitch we had was facing the toilets/showers which was extremely handy and we would definitely see if this pitch was available the next time we book! The camp rules are clear and the other campers I'm pleased to say adhered to them, the showers were clean and they consisted of 2 cubicles in the men's and 2 cubicles in the women's. The toilets, were also clean with a hairdryer in the ladies for a small charge of 20p. You can buy eggs/sausages and burgers from the farm for a reasonable price. The site is close to a Tesco and the town centre which was only 10 minute walk away and The Harp Inn served lovely food up to 7. 30pm. The site is in a great location, 20 minutes from Llandudno, Conwy and Colwyn Bay. In the opposite direction is Towyn and Rhyl, which was great for us with the children. We would definitely recommend this camp site and are looking to book again very soon, we will be looking to upgrade to a bigger tent too, we have the camping bug ( HA HA )

I've had this campsite in my virtual brochure for some time now and this year we finally made it to North Wales!

We paid our £30 deposit on booking and reserving a hardstanding pitch with the balance being payable on arrival (you can pay this before you arrive if you want to).

We checked the directions via their website and yes, you can go directly through the arch (it's on your left) shortly after the Tesco which will be on your right as you come through Abergele.

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our pitch and also where the water tap was. We were also informed where the washblock was, tourist info / leaflets, waste disposal, rubbish and washing up.

We had a mishap on the way down as our jockey wheel somehow worked it's way loose. Jules happily gave us directions to a caravan dealer/shop and we were able to get a new jockey wheel fairly quickly.

Our pitch was up in the far right corner of the site (as you approach). It was a gravelled hardstand with grass surrounding it and backed onto the golf course. Initially, my husband was a little concerned about the fact the golf course was so close but this did not prove problematic at all.

The area of the park we were in felt spacious to the layout of pitches as most of the hardstands were separated by low level fencing and some planting. The fields at the entrances (South and North Paddock) felt as if they would be much busier, but that have just been my own impression.

The washblock contained 2 showers and 4 toilets in the Ladies and similar for the Men. They are free, although the shower head is not adjustable and neither is the temperature. I felt they were the right temperature and yes, they are push button but this helps to conserve water.

Abergele and it's various shops and pubs is about a 10-15 min walk from the site and the Tesco is less than that if you are walking. There are various places to eat if you don't want to cook i. E. The pubs, Trawlers Chippy, chinese takeaway / restaurants and also an indian. We had a takeaway from Wongs on our last night and it was really good.

We were lazy and drove to Pensarn beach - there are a few small catering outlets as well as a cafe which was both busy and obviously popular. Llandudno is a short drive - don't miss going up the Great Orme, whether you do this by tram, cable car or drive. We did two out of the 3 as the cable cars weren't operating on the day we took the tram.

We managed to stay a little later on our departure day and were allowed to move the caravan onto an unused pitch. This allowed us to walk up to Gwyrch Castle and also walk around the farm animals on site.

This was a quiet and peaceful park, although it did inevitably fill up with quite a few families with children over the bank holiday weekend but it was not noisy, unlike some camp sites we've stayed on!

I felt the site offered good value for money compared to other sites in the area and did not 'overprice' itself.

Just one final point and it's not a criticism. There are two ways in/out of the site - one being coming through the arch and the other continuing a little further down the main road. I am wondering if one should be an 'In road' and the other an 'Out/Exit road' to avoid other caravans arriving/exiting. Although, we personally didn't experience this at all.

Thank you Manorafon for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

N. B. I've not rated on child friendliness as we don't have children

I booked Manorafon Farm as a last minute, one night break for me and my partner for our anniversary, we ended up staying for a further two nights over the May bank holiday. It was serine. It had a lovely friendly atmosphere, it was quite despite the amount of families present, which we wouldn't usually be keen on. Everybody was so plesent and they were all easy to talk to.

The toilets and shower block was spotless, of course there were small shards of grass laying on the floor but what do you expect?

The owners remembered mine and my partners names once we arrived after only speaking to them over the phone as well ass remembering that it was out anniversary. It's the small things.

We got placed near the top of the hill which was beautiful and we were welcomed with beautiful views of the sea, the scenery below and our gorgeous campsite.

It is a very well maintained campsite and the rules that are put into place are really taken on board.

Me and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the small farm and for the kids they sell small bags of feed so you can have a more hands on experience when venturing the farm.

I loved this place, everywhere is so easily accessible, the local pubs are a 10/15 minute walk as well as the convenience stores and the superstore is closer still. The Welsh Mountain Zoo, Colwyn Bay, Rhos and Conwy castle are all under a 30 minute drive.

We have just bought a brand new tent and we are planning our next trip to Manorafon Farm very soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed it!
