We first visited West Kyloe caravan site fifteen years ago and have been staying there regularly ever since. We love it because there is plenty of room so we don't feel crowded and the site is far enough away from the far buildings so that we don't feel overlooked.

The site is perfect for us in every way - its location, its facilities, which are spotlessly clean, and its amenities. I have Parkinsons Disease so the wet room is perfect for me as there is loads of space. My husband is a runner so the farm trail is ideal for him - three circuits is the perfect workout.

The site is just a few minutes drive away from Lindisfarne causeway and just nine miles from Berwick where there is a good choice of shops and supermarkets (and you can park all day for free). There are also several other places reasonably close by such as Bamburgh Castle, Ford and Etal, Budle Bay, Seahouses and St Abbs.

When we visit Northumberland, we would never even think about staying anywhere else.

Very good location just off the A1 for stopover on the way to Scotland, with fantastic coastal views from the site and suitable dog walks on lead though because of cattle, sheep and geese and ducks on the millpond.

Facilities good and well maintained, the workers on the farm friendly and claimed Twizzle the lurched when he wandered in.

Locally Holy Island, Bamburgh and beaches to the south are all worth a visit.

Only concern is the uneven sloping field which may cause problems. Local store on junction of A1/Holy Island road with petrol was very comprehensive.

Lovely caravan site. When we arrived there were quite a few people and we found ourselves having to queue for the facilities. However, after Sunday there were only a couple of us left so no queuing. Facilities were good and cleaned everyday. One male toilet and one female toilet. One shower and a wet room that had a shower, toilet and sink. Site is in a picturesque location and has a few walks from site. Area is great and the Farne Islands is well worth a visit. Seeing the grey seals was the highlight of our week. The view of Holy Island from the top of Thumble Hill is fantastic. Definitely recommend this site and will be back if in the area again.

Lovely site and location. One or two walks direct from site and the site is very close to Berwick, Holy Island and the Farne Islands. There were only two vans for the majority of our visit so facilities were ample. However, on the weekend there were a few more visitors and we found ourselves queueing for the showers. There is one mens and one ladies toilet, one shower and a wet room that has both shower and toilet in it. Toilets and showers were checked and cleaned everyday. Information room had plenty of local info in it. Wonderful views from site and if you walk up ThumbleHill you get a great view of Holy Island. Farne Islands are well worth a visit to see all the grey seals. We would definitely come back if in the area and would definitely recommend this site.

We spent a few nights at this lovely site at the end of May. We chose the site because we wanted to visit Lindisfarne and Berwick and the site is ideally located. Reading the reviews we knew there were no shops close by so we went prepared and planned our visits around when we would need to shop. The only thing we found a little disappointing was being asked to pitch our tents in the walled area, there was quite a slope in this area but we soon got used to levelling tables off and so forth. While we were pitching our tents a man came round to cut the grass, we wondered why as we had pre booked so they knew we were coming and we arrived later as we had made our way over to Holy Island first.

The facilities were well cared for and personally cleaned by the owner, consisting of a pot washing room, one male and female toilet with hand basin, shower and a lovely unisex wet room with shower, toilet and sink. It doesn't sound much but we never once had to wait. The information room was a nice touch with all the leaflets and guides on the area.

My 5 year old Granddaughter enjoyed exploring the farm, going to see the cow's and the pond. We went prepared with balls, kites and thing's to keep her happy, she particularly enjoyed exploring the rock pools on Holy Island and we took her back when the tide was in so she could see the island surrounded by the sea.

Our camping trip was enjoyed by all, we had a lovely time and I can recommend this camp site

I can honestly say that this was the most beautiful site that I have camped in. We stayed for three nights, right out in wonderful open country, not even overlooked by the lovely farm and cottages. At night there were carpets of stars. If a small, quiet and natural place to holiday is your thing, you will love it too.

Another of its great bonuses if that it is only 10 minutes driving to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, where campers are not allowed to stay nights.

The little facility block is charming and well kept with a washing-up room, a separate ladies and men's loo, a shower and a wet room, a little room for information (including all important Lindisfarne tides time-table), plenty of hot water and no extra charges. Plenty of electric hook ups too.

Although there are no handy 'walking distance' pubs for a meal out, there are plenty of lovely villages in easy driving distance for little shops and pubs etc.

If we ever manage to return to beautiful Northumberland we will stay at West Kyloe Farm again, that is for certain!
