Just back from 2 nights at Edisford Bridge Farm and will definitely be returning very soon.
The site is really spacious and well maintained. Toilet/shower facilities are large and no matter what time you visit them are always lovely and clean. There is a large undercover wash up/prep area with plenty of hot water.
The services were excellent, close water filling and emptying points and no issues with electricity tripping (which ruined our Easter break at a different site).
For those of us who are dog owners, they are required to be kept on a lead at all times, there is a large field at the top of the site to run your dog/s when there are no sheep around. We found the sheep were in adjoining fields and didn't cause us a problem.
The river is about a 5 minute walk from the site and if you cross over the bridge you can sit on benches provided overlooking the water, our dog loved being able to swim here.
Another 5 mins walk is quite a large co-op with a good variety of food and drink.
Finally on the doorstep of the site is a very welcoming pub (The Edisford Arms) it has top quality staff serving excellent food and drinks. We also walked into Clitheroe (about 15 to 20 mins) lovely town with lots of interesting shops, bakeries, butchers, and clothes shops not seen in big high streets. Nice to see local butchers especially the sausage shop. All in all we loved the site and the area.

Just returned from 4 nights at this site and will be returning very soon. Great location for walking and only 5 minutes from Clitheroe should you need anything.
We visited the local swimming pool with our two children, only 500 years from site and well worth it to pass a couple of hours. Been lucky with the weather which allowed us to walk along the river across the bridge. Kids even paddled and played on the stones after feeding the ducks.
The Eddisford bridge pub is excellent, good menu and very welcoming of children.
Toilet Block was very clean at whatever time of day you visit.
Overall excellent site in a great location. As its only 15 miles or so from home we will definitely be using this site again as a weekend getaway.
Rated this site as 9 out of ten as no play area for children on site and also whilst reasonable price they do seem to want to charge extra for everything, extra car £2 per night, awning £2 per night. Not used to all these extras as normally go on caravan club sites and don't normally take two cars but had to as wife had to get to hospital appointment on the final day.

Nice site with very friendly and helpful owners. No one at reception when we arrived but mobile numbers posted on the door and someone along soon to book us in.
Allocated a hardstanding pitch amongst the caravans and some other campers, all pitches appeared to have hook up but we didn't use.
Pub next door well stocked with good beers (Jennings Cumberland was excellent!) and does good food and is also kid friendly,
Access to Clitheroe easy by public transport.
Special mention for the toilet block which was always spotlessly clean and this at a time when there had been a lot of rain and parts of the site were quite muddy.
All this for only £10 a night (campervan, 1 adult + 2 kids)
We'll be back!

Very pleased to have stayed at Edisford Farm, the owners were very friendly & welcoming.
There are 2 areas for tents, with marked pitches, the ground is very well drained, despite very heavy rain there were no puddles or muddy areas. Cars park alongside the reception once you have unloaded, which will stop the ground getting churned up, and allows ample space around the pitches. You pitch around the perimiter, giving plenty of room for children to play, and you to sit out. The whole site is very flat & level.
Facilities excellent. Free showers with lovely hot water, hooks on the back of the doors for your things. Regularly cleaned etc. 2 undercover sinks for pot washing, again hot water a plenty. Your drinking water tap is here too. The block is only a few strides away from either tent field. They are heated too, very welcoming!
Children have an enourmous field to play ball games on, which is an added bonus. A few minutes walk down the hill & you are at Edisford Bridge, again a magnet for families, 2 play areas, the river to paddle in, pitch & put, mini steam train, good walks etc. Swimming pool a minute further up the road.
Pricing is excellent, £16 per unit for EHU, 2 adults & 2 children. Dogs free! Tourist info in reception, & a small shop. 2min by car & there is a large Spar, & Clitheroe has several supermarkets & good coffee shops, wine bars, boutiques, takeaways etc. Good pub near site enterance too.
Quiet time is 11pm. Personally I think any earlier is pushing it, especially in summer with the light nights etc. Not a sound was heard after this time. 8am was when morning began, but most of us were up by 7. 30, so again it worked well I thought.
There area is stunning, Bowland Forrest, The Trough, Pendle Hill etc. The Ribble Valley is home to quaint hamlets & villages, rivers, fells etc. Something for everyone!
Big thumbs up, we will return!

Just returned after a 4 day break at this site and found it a really good site for a number of reasons. It was close to the pub and the river and we walked to both a few times because the weather was hot and sunny. Clitheroe is about 1 and a half mile away and is a lovely town with a varied array of shops. As has been said in a previous review, the sausage shop is a must. We even brought some home with us to freeze. We also visited Malham cove and Goredale sca as they were within an hours drive. The site toilets were spotless and good dishwashing facilities with nice hot water. It is a quiet site and well maintained. They also had it right in putting the campers close to the amenities block as when I was a camper you were always furthest away and campers need the facilities more than caravans. All in all a great site. We were charged £10 a night (in the week) for a caravan with 2 adults and no awning. Hope to return.

We were only able to stay 1 night as site full for weekend, would have stayed longer.
A pleasant site at the far (non Clitheroe) side of Edisford Bridge, just past the pub. Long caravan.
The site has good quality clean facilities and is split into three main areas, all with electric hookups.
Toilet/Shower were cleaned very early AM and were spotless.
Good hardstanding for caravans/motorhomes.
The adjacent pub provides excellent food lunch and dinner.
