I have a bispace 400 and consider it to be the best tent I've had yet! Spacious, airy and easy to erect. I like the idea of the two doors in the living area.
We've used it many times, in storms too, and felt safe in the knowledge that it would stand up to the wind / rain with no trouble at all.
However, if I could have made a suggestion to Coleman, I would ask for the living area to have a sewn in groundsheet. I think that with strategically placed lower vents, condensation would not be an issue either, due to the roof vents.

My first proper tent, went all over Europe with it, very pleased and would still use it sometimes. Really easy to put up and down and so much space under the dome, for a month's worth of kit plus 2 chairs and a table. Got mine for £120, would have paid double if I'd know how good it was before hand.
Survived a horrendous night in Vianden,Luxembourg. Torrential rain, wind and lightning, we just stayed dry and snug in the sleep compartment and watched others float by. Got up in the morning and watched the others drying out for ages while we disappeared off on another adventure. Only thing was the pocket in the sleep compartment ripped a little in 4 years.
Buy one!

Brilliant Tent! Own lots of others but this gets the most use. Easy to erect. Always weather proof. Lightweight for it's size. Great use of space. No windows in mine and I like the privacy. Handy to be able to use or not use the groundsheet in living area. We luvs it!

I love it!
I got this tent for Christmas from my other half a couple of years ago, and it's had plenty of use since!
The bedroom is very roomy. Plenty of space for the double airbed, bags and still space to move. The pockets also ideally located for finding the torch in the pitch black.
The living area is a great size, I can easily walk around and my other half (6'4') doesn't find it too low either. There's room for a table and chairs, cooker and obligatory odds and sods. When the other half has borrowed it for his boys climbing trips he's got all 6 grown men around the table playing cards - though I have to admit I don't think he took the camping kitchen on that occasion!
The removeable 'sunroof' is a novel idea and very handy when cooking to let out the steam, or when it's really hot to get an air flow, then can zip it up at night to keep in the heat. Having full size doors on both sides is also particuarly useful when it's hot or being social, it really opens the tent up!
It's really quick to put up and folds up nice and small. It easily fits back in the bag, even space for the mallet, door mat and spare pegs and light enough to carry back up the two flights of stair up to our flat. Despite this it's extremely sturdy. This summer during a very windy trip to a coastal site in Devon others in our party had their caravan awnings damaging or even blown away - but our tent stood firm without any problems, I even realised in the morning I hadn't put out all the guy ropes!
For a tent that can be quickly and easily be erected, doesn't take up much storage space and still enough space for a longer trip this tent is ideal. The only thing I would change, would be to be able buy an extra canopy to add to the tent for long trips (week or so) to create a separate kitchen area.

As an avid camper and A Scout Leader you can imagine the battering this Tent gets.
I am not over exaggerating when I say that I have camped in this tent in Gales, Rain, Hail, Snow and even occasionally brilliant bright Sunshine!
It doesn’t matter what the weather throws at it, this tent keeps on standing and keeps you and your stuff dry.
The windows are a very nice feature for letting in lots of natural light; the sun-roof/air-vent is also another brilliant feature for letting fresh air and light in.
It’s a nice and roomy tent with a lot of head room and although I am not tall it is something which I particularly like as I find it means I can easily get into my Scout uniform (or any trousers), without the need for lying down and wriggling into my trousers.
On occasions when we have had to cook inside because of the weather we can easily fit the Camp Kitchen, the table and chairs in the living space.
The only reason I am giving it a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the Clear roof bit that fits on the top of the dome, as it is only held on with Velcro in strong winds it does seem to work loose which can be annoying, I have solved this by getting some buckles from a haberdashers and fitting these so if the Velcro fails the roof doesn’t come off (it has happened to me before).

What a great tent, usually contains me,my other half, our 5 yr old daughter, loads of kit & on occasion-my scooter! Although a 4 berth the bi-space 400 gives a couple a fair bit of room (although the women in my family don't travel light!)the dome living area means you don't feel too confined in bad weather-which it shrugs off with ease - it has survived heavy rain & gales when other tents haven't! It still looks like new 3-4 yrs on too. Have just bought a Sunncamp invader 600 off e-bay for even more space (hope its as good & I don't regret switching .Guess which review I will look at next!)If you are looking for a 4 berth-buy a bi-space. But maybe not mine- don't know if I'm selling yet!

We have a Bi Space 400 - this is a great starter tent, which is why we have had it for over 4 years now. As a couple it was great, and in fact we have a little addition to our family this year: the tent held two adults, a large travel cot, and there was still room to move around, just. This is one strong little tent - we will be buying a bigger one now, but are NOT getting rid of this tent. It survived, with no damage or no need to re-inforce the pitching, the storms of 2007. It has survived heavy winds, I am sure it was struck by lightning on one occasion - and still, the tent is immaculate. Would have 10/10, but would benefit from more windows, as it is a little dark once door closed.

I owned a 400 when they first came out and absolutely loved it . Large living space ,large sleeping pod , I even used to use it instead of a bivvy for night fishing .
I found it very resilient even in the worst weather
A great tent !

We have just spent our first 4 nights under canvas in the BiSpace 400. Not sure of its age as we bought it from EBay, but have guessed at 2007! The tent was very easy to put up and to take down. We encountered wind, rain and sunshine and the tent weathered all very well. We are very pleased with the purchase but will be getting a slightly larger tent so that my husband can stand up better in the tent and not feel as cramped. I didn't have this problem as I am 4 inches shorter than him.
I would recommend this tent to anyone

Good quality tent at a very affordable price. Ideal tent for a couple, would sleep four at a push, but that would take the pleasure out of this spacious tent. Erecting the tent is reasonably straight forward, two people erecting speeds the process. All in all, a very good tent, excellent two berth, must be in the top 10% for quality and design.
