We use this tent with our 5 girls and had plenty of use in all weather. Never had a problem. We put girls all together in big room. We have small room then use other small room for storage. Plenty of room and head height in living area fit in kitchen, table and 7 camp chairs and still space to move. Very easy to erect for large tent {we can do it in 15 mins} fits on all pitches we have come across. Just as easy to take down [fits in bag every time] Great value for money family tent would def have another one if anything happened to ours. We have found [drunken hubby bent pole] that cheap gazebo poles make perfect replacement for damaged poles as same size.

I brought one of these tents in the argos sale for £127.99 and I was surprised that it was delivered from them so quickly, one thing was you cant pick it up from in store. Anyway I have set mine up in the garden to make myself familiar with the tent as recommended, I was surprised at the size of the thing, it just fitted in the garden length ways, I have a big garden.

I am going camping in June for 2 weeks and I think that this tent is ideal for at least 4 people with loads of things. One thing I would change is the ground sheet, I feel that it could do with having 2 of them the same size, the main one fits nicely, but the second one is half the size which means you have to have at least one of the two double rooms in. That's the only problem I have had, the steel poles is great for support and you feel as though you have a good bargain with these as it gives a sense of stability.

I put this tent up myself and I found it not too bad, but I feel that 2 people could do it better for proper tension. I do have the stronger plastic pegs as I think the metal pegs would not have supported the tent to well, so if you are going to but this tent then I would recommend that you buy the heavy duty pegs, even if you use them for the main tent and the metal pegs for the guy ropes. On the whole another good bargain from argos

Chose this tent because of the price and large size. We have used it for 3 seasons of camping. It has survived all types of weather, including a week of torrential rain and mudlakes under the tent!, hosed down the groundsheet when I got home and it was fine. Tent just seems to be stretching a little bit now and water is starting to pool at the top but it has been well used.

No problems putting it up, even with one adult and two children (which did interest a few spectators!). It is also the only tent I have managed to fit back into correct bag. However it is heavy to lift into the car.

Very spacious inside, has accommodated an adult over 6' fairly comfortably. My children liked the fact that it had two separate smaller bedrooms rather than a dividing curtain. Plenty of room to eat/sit inside if the weather is bad.

I have found it a really good tent for an excellent price

Bought this because I liked the size and the price. Very simple to put up but recommend by two people.

Extremely spacious. Kept us nice and dry and warm in the evenings when it cooled down a little. I would recommend it to anybody.

There are only the two of us but we use the large pod as our bedroom, one of the smaller pods as the toilet tent and the other pod we leave in the bag and use the area for storage and kitchen area instead. We used a small tent for years and we really enjoy the extreme luxury of such a big tent.

Can't wait till the next time we use it.

I've had this tent for 3 years now and have got very adept at putting it up, its very easy but can't do it alone purely because of its size. I like the fact that you can walk upright from end to end. Also if you leave out one of the smaller 'bedrooms' it gives you extra space for storing and cooking, a ground sheet is provided for this purpose. You can open up either side to allow air flow on hotter days, and both sides have large windows for light. It is very well designed throughout with little extras like a strip of pockets built within the larger bedroom pod for bits and pieces you dont want to lose. I like this tent so much I would replace it with a similar one when my present one expires, which it shows no sign of doing yet. We have endured hurricane strength winds and pelting rain in this tent and it performed admirably. The living area is large enough for 7 camping chairs and a table for playing cards on which is how we spend most evenings whilst camping. This is the 3rd tent I've used and it is by far the best. Highly recommended.

I love the straight forward design of this tent. No domes or sloping ceilings! Thus it is uncomplicated and easy to live with. Erection is easy, although it really needs two to cope properly and get it up even. I've used it now for two years and it has held up well against various weather conditions.

Space is absolutely luxurious even though it has a smaller footprint than comparable tents! Even when using camp beds/inflatable mattresses there's still plenty of floor space in the births. The living area is large enough for communal socialising into the late hours, especially if inclement weather closes in and the hatches need battening down. No sense of claustophobia!

Good ventilation keeps it very comfortable on hot days. Each side of the tent has two doors, all of which may be opened at once for a truly alfresco feel, or in various combinations depending on comfort and privacy needs. Pull up the flaps and two of them become windows to let light in and keep any weather out.

Head height is generous throughout - you could jump up and down if you felt the need.

The hanging divider as provided for dividing up the large compartment only provides a sort of token separation and is probably best forgotten about: it certainly won't offer any sort of privacy.

Altogether, this is a brilliant tent for the large family/group and shouldn't disappoint.

I love this TENT!

I have camped for many years and have owned many many tents, and still have a decent stock of about 15, running a events company I spend a lot of the warmer months outdoors touring various festivals and events.

I have had this tent for 5 years now and it is still my go to tent. Excellent head room, rugged, has lasted extremely well, and I, and the English, and French, weather has put it through it paces.

I have had to run seam seal over the 5 roof pole seams, but that is to be expected. Never leaked even when quite frankly I would have expected it to.

And conversely to some options on here I love the fact it doesn't have a sewn ground sheet for the 'living' section, most of the time I prefer the grass. And if you do want the groundsheet its hardly a hardship to lay it down and clip it in.

Once again well impressed. Love it a lot.

Hi, we bought this tent as an upgrade from two four man tents. First time we used it was at the beginning of the season in march 2011. My sister in law and I put the tent up with no complications, instructions are very easy to read. We absolutely love this tent with a passion! We sleep 4 adults and 3 children in this tent and usually take a friend with us and there is plenty of room to accommodate our needs. The living area is high so you can stand fully and the bedroom pods are the same.

We have been in this tent in all weathers and if it rains a lot the living area does get wet and needs attending to. This tent stayed strong in heavy winds and still remains' in tact!

I recommended this tent to a friend and she bought one after seeing mine put up. We love this tent!

I had read a lot of reviews for this tent both before and after taking the plunge and buying one

I think if I had read some of them before I bought it I might have thought twice ,however I would have been wrong

The tent is everything it claims to be , large (but not too big to fit on most pitches) easy to erect ,well made (at least mine is )

The sleeping pod layout is very good and gave us the opportunity to leave behind our utility tent as we were able to use one of the smaller pods for storage whilst still keeping the rest of the floor un-cluttered

Putting the tent up for the first time on site (it wouldn't fit in the garden ) was relatively easy after just 40 mins we had the thing up and guy'd down and were putting in the pods

Taking it down was easy too as we just reversed the procedure

I would happily recommend this tent to anyone looking for a spacious family unit who didn't have the megabucks needed for some of the more established manufacturers.

We bought this back in 2006 whilst I was expecting our 3rd child and I couldn't face camping without being able to stand up properly (not to mention a nice inflatable bed!).

Its been used every year at least once since then. Highlands, Lake District, Peak District, Northumbria and perched atop an exposed farmers field at the edge of the Clyde Valley in gale force winds, camping at all times of the year from April to October.

The ONLY hiccup we have found was when we first put it up, in the dark, at a festival. Definitely wasn't pitched correctly but by morning the site was full with little ability to change it. It leaked that week with the rain, but we proofed it all when we got home and not a drop has gotten through since. And of course we have made sure to put the tent up well.

The winds have had a go at taking it down but nothing snapped or broke or caved in. We love it, the kids love it (aged 12, 10, 4, & 2). Its never been an issue that there is no sewn in groundsheet but we have never really looked for this in a tent. The kids have really put this tent through its paces and it remains standing (we are back just this weekend!)

We are now expecting our 5th child, and we are looking to upgrade due to space, but the tent is still in fabulous working order and I would recommend it to anyone.
