Bought this to provide extra living space with our 3 man tunnel tent. Pitched it so that it covered the tent door and extended outwards. Marvellous! we were disappointed that there were only 2 poles but you can use walking pole turned upside down as the eyelets in the tarp are large enough to fit the tips. We take it everywhere now. Great stuff!.

Bought this with the view to adapting it to use as an awning with our camper.
I bought some awning channel and stitched it on therefore enabling it to attach to the van using a figure-of-eight awning fastening (see submitted picture).
Really pleased with the result, works well and is a great awning for a very reasonable price.

Great little Tarp. 101 ways you could set this up. When the weather was nice I had it set up as a sun shelter like the picture above with the table under it. When the wind got up I took one section out of the poles and pegged each side to the floor making a very good wind shield. Then using an extra set of poles I lifted one side up to give me a shelter and a wind shield in one (see my uploaded pic). I now have bought a second tarp to link them together. We sat under ours in wind and rain, nice and sheltered and dry. Great for the money, cant wait to use it again to see how else I could set it up.

Like one of the previous reviewers I bought this to use as a canopy/awning for my camper but I just tied it onto the far side of my camper (wing mirror and back grill) and put the 2 legs up at the front and secured the whole thing with the guy ropes. It does the job fine although not great in strong winds.
I find its great for cooking under when its wet and provides a good covered area between our tent and the van.

At £14.99 in 2006, this was probably the most useful bit of kit I have ever bought. Slept under it in my bivi bag one night on the local moors and it kept the rain off. Have used it in the local park as an instant stand when watching my nephew playing sunday football in a monsoon, much to the envy of those getting soaked. Went car camping last year with my sister and it made a useful undercover kitchen area.
Has endless uses and at about a third of the cost of other manufacturers' tarps.

Fantastic piece of kit. Used this to keep rain off the front of my Eurohike Avon (has a dodgy door design which lets water in) and to provide a cooking shelter. Other reviewers are right about the height of the poles, the ones provided make it about tall enough for someone 5'3' to stand up in but my 5'9' friend was hitting the top with his head.
Stood up very well to heavy rain and a lot better than I was expecting to some wind - nothing gale force but once it's well pegged down and the guy ropes are taut it can take a surprising amount. The extra guy attached to the centre of the tarp really helps reinforce it against wind. I borrowed two more king poles from a Gelert windbreak I have to give me more pitching options but didn't use them in the end.

I love it.The one piece of additional camping equipment I wouldn't be without. Check out my photo on my review of Biscaya 440 to see it in action as Sun canopy.
We also use it when we are packing if it is raining to store all of our equipment under as we need to pack away our tent first.
If your tent leaks throw it over the top and you have an instant fix.
If its sunny pitch it as a sun canopy (some places charge for gazebos, but we have never been charged for this extra space).
It has guys at each corner and also the midpoint of each side allowing almost any pitching combination.
The only down side is it could do with taller/more poles. We bought an extendable king pole which we use along with the original poles and now it gets 10/10 ! Would also be good if they did a slightly larger version.

I Bought this Tarp to compliment with my other Quechua outfit of AirII and 4.2 It makes an ideal outside extension to enhance the living space. It also acts as a beach shelter, rain shelter and a basha.
A well made, quick and easy to set up, versatile.
Simply brilliant.

Brilliant and handy, only downer is the weight and it is quite low if you are 6' plus! However, what do you expect for under twenty quid! I use mine when family camping, it's a perfect solution for keeping dry or keeping out of the sun (remember, that bright orange round thing in the sky we see from time to time?!?). Don't buy any other, cut to the chase, save your hard-earned and buy the Quechua.

Used it on summer camp with the scouts this year as a shelter out of the rain, and somewhere to sit under in the evenings. Wonderful piece of kit kept us dry. Also made a good quick volleyball net on the beach!
