Fantastic tent has a lot of room. Very large living space with pods that sleep 3 in each. Been in the east coast on the top of a hill facing the sea. With the worst weather you could ever come across. The tent was fantastic never moved or leaked it withstood almost gale force wind. An outwell next to us was battered they paid twice as much as us and ended up being in our tent are there's was blowing all over the place.

Brilliant tent well worth ever penny! 10 out of 10

One of the best tents I have had. Roomy, well made and sturdy. It won't last forever I am sure but I will be buying another if and when it gets damaged. We have used it for numerous trips now so have definitely had our money's worth from it. Bought from tentastic on ebay I think.

We originally chose the Rage on price as we were not sure if camping would be for us (£62 on ebay.) Just returned from our first weekend away, the Rage stood up well to the weather, wind and rain most of the time. Only 2 of us but managed to erect ok despite instruction (which are vague for a newbie) suggesting 3. We did plan on buying a more expensive (better?) tent if we enjoyed camping, but for equivalent size in local camp store £250/300 .Cant see them offering much advantage over my Rage, maybe they will last longer I don't know, but if the Rage dies I will probably replace with the same.

I bought an Alta 6dx two years ago as a way to get back into camping without having to declare myself bankrupt!

OK, so the rage isn't the best made tent in the world, but mine cost me less than £80 delivered! It is a simple tunnel tent and went up without any problems, it is very roomy inside and has plenty of ventilation, the groundsheet that comes with it is pretty flimsy, but I prefer to camp without one anyway.

We have been camping on several occasions in some truly dreadful weather, and touch wood have always remained dry. In summary, I love my Rage and although I am often tempted to upgrade, I will not do so until my rage decides that it can hold out the rain no longer, it would appear that Rage are somewhat hit and miss with their construction quality, I guess I must be one of the lucky ones!

I've owned the ten for 2 years and have been very satisfied with the performance every time. Great head room, good size bedrooms (big enough for a queen size airbed in each).

Admittedly, the ground sheet seems to be an inches short in width and length, but that is minor point, all things considered.

Most recently took it to Wales and it coped well with the rain and wind of the Brecon Beacons.

Value for money? - I'd say so!

This tent was handed down to me by my parents when my Outwell was stolen from our shed. And if I'm perfectly honest I thought it was a lot more expensive than it actually was. It's still in very good condition after having at least 12 outings.

It is easy to put up, having done it on my own, 4 simple poles, peg in the back, grab the front guy rope and pull. The hardest thing is getting the pins in the ends of the poles. I've never had any problem with leaks or high winds.

Space wise, there is plenty for a family of 3. There is 2 inner tent bedrooms with one of then being slightly smaller than the other. The living area is more than adequate with plenty of head room and when the weather is nice you can unzip the front of the tent. The fact the ground sheet isn't sown in is not a problem for me, but it might be for others.

Plus points: Easy to put up and take down. Can withstand the typical British weather no problems. Detachable front wall. Plenty of room and light.

Negatives: Pins difficult to get into poles. The zips to the inner tents aren't logical, the net door should be zipped to the other door to save fiddling in the middle of the night!

Brilliant family tent, used many times and is a large sturdy tent that's easy to put up and take down. Very good in windy conditions, the one only draw back is that it hasn't got a sewn in groundsheet.

First trip using tent and found it to be very good. Survived very high winds and heavy rain over night on north east coast of Scotland. Tent has great head room and two bedroom pods are good size. Ours came with separate ground sheet for front area and I suppose a sewn in one might be easier. Instructions for erecting tent could be clearer, eg poles through eyelets then insert pin into bottom of pole, (instead of insert poles through eyelets with no mention of pin) basic stuff but every little helps.

Overall very happy with tent and looking forward to using again.

I bought a rage Alta tent and used it for the first time this bank holiday. The tent is a bit hard to put up as the instructions aren't very good but we muddled through and it took us about 40mins for the first attempt. Not bad next time will know what to do.

The tent has loads of room two sleeping pods and a massive living space ideal if its raining.

Its has two front windows and two side windows in each side.

The only down side is it would be better with a fitted ground sheet rather than a pin down type.

It with stood some heavy rain and wind we had no leeks or anything it was fantastic cant wait to use it again.

There is only two adults using this tent as we like space but it will comfortably fit 6 even 8.

A great buy they retail at £200 but we got ours off ebay from a trader called tentastic can recommend.

I purchased this tent off ebay for a very reasonable sum a lot lower than the RRP and for the money it was an absolute bargain. It is very easy to erect and was done between 2 of us. The room inside is fantastic, I am 6ft tall and still had loads of head room. The sleeping quarters are a very good size more than ample. We had gale force winds and the rain to match and the tent was up to the test.
