The main issue we found with this particular tent is that you really need to find a nice level pitch to pitch it on or you'll end up with occasional gaps between the bottom of the tent and the ground which isn't ideal if the weather takes a turn for the worse. You also have to make sure all the side poles are lined up perfectly or the roof twists, allowing for dips to form in the fabric which collect rain water.
Having said that, this tent has served us well over the years, having survived torrential downpours, gale force winds (just! - one split roof pole needed replacing) and much longed for heatwaves.
The sleeping pod divider is next to useless and therefore we never used it, but that didn't impact on our enjoyment of the tent. A front door and two large side doors allows for a lot of ventilation on hot days, but the lack of a SIG means it can get very draughty in the evenings if the wind picks up.
When all's said and done though it's more than proved itself to be a nice little home from home and I'll be sad to see it go when we gift it to relatives in a few month's time.

I've just bought my second one, as the last one after 4 years of good service, got damaged in the very bad winds. I kept it for spares. I had another make of tent, but did not like it so I sold it and got another nevada 5. Shame they are now discontinued as for us they are the perfect tent for the two of us. Would recommend anyone to buy a used one.

Good tent for the money and easy to pitch. Great in windy conditions stood up well to a very windy east coast night in Filey. Loads of room for the family 2 adults and three children. Ours is a bit old now but has served us well on many occasions.Only bad point is bedroom divider is a bit poor looking forward to using it again this summer

We have used this tent in all weather types and have just returned from Filey where the weather was VERY windy. The tent stood firm where many others faded and died. Nice big living area. Bedroom divider is a waste of time but without it we fit a double ready bed ,a wardrobe and a single bed. Loads of space to change etc.It has been used a lot and is still going strong. For the money it was a great buy. Zips all still good ,no rips or tears. Been in heatwaves and thunderstorms and stands fast.

Nice roomy tent and for its price very good (half price that is) big enough to back the car in to unload.
Just the two of us use it and compared to the vango a mansion.
Unusual air ducts but otherwise very sturdy ,easy for one to erect .
The material is a little thin but there's little to fault it on for a budget tent it would be hard to beat.
Its our weekender tent now as its far faster to put up than the TT.
Plenty of doors to let in the breeze as being thin material it lets the heat in!

Poorly constructed, panels stitched wrongly.
Very drafty due to poor fitting and alignment.
The bedroom divider is next to useless.
On the plus side, it does have a lot of space inside, with very generous headroom.

Just to confirm the other reviews of this tent.
Spacious, easy to put up and a good tent to withstand wind and rain. The design is good and for those worried about the wind, you can double up extra guys on each pole to make a Very stable tent.
The only problem I found was the 'zip in' front sometimes worked loose and needed you to keep an eye on it. I also managed to peg the front out carelessly and make a small rip in the seam but a needle and thread sorted that out and the damage didn't spread.
I don't think you can buy this new any more but if you see a 2nd hand one, go for it.

I bought this tent three years ago as I wanted one where you don't have to keep on bending down. Its spacious with plenty of openings.Only two of us use it ;hence plenty of space. I don't think its a five man tent as bedroom is at one end; but suites are needs. Best value tent I have ever owned.

I have had this tent for 3 years now and use it as our mid sized tent, all in all its great, easy to put up and fantastic for 4 (you need to remove the hanging room divider for 5) the organiser pockets are really useful and save the constant cries of' mum where's the.!
My one gripe is that the living room groundsheet seems to have stretched a bit with age, and the eyelets don't really match up with the ones in the inner tent any more, but as I bought it in the sales for £50 and it has done 3 years of frequent camping its no big deal!
I have never moved the front section in to make a porch as we like to have the living and cooking space for four, but think its a clever idea

Bought this last year at a sale price of £69.00 - bargain!
Only used it this year as bought at the end of last season, so easy to put up, and very airy.
Bedroom divider is only a hanging curtain and quite honestly, the moveable front door panel is a bit of a waste of time - you would surely only have it at it's outermost setting anyway? (Hence the 9)
That said, I only use it for 2 people so space is more than ample, easily fit our table/chairs/camp kitchen inside when the weather is not too kind (In the UK? - surely not!)
Not too sure I'd want 5 in it for any length of time, but for my wants/needs it's ideal.
