Just tried out my new tent this weekend and wow really pleased. Was a little put off at first with the comments re the lack of flyscreen and no fixing at the bottom of the front door, but after viewing a pitched one at my local Go outdoors store, I decided that a bit of velcro would fix it.
How surprised was I when I pitched my newly bought one to find that they have now redesigned the tent and it now includes a full zip around front door and flynet (same as other doors)excellent cannot fault this tent at all,and glad that Hi gear have listened and redesigned.
Cant wait for another good weekends weather to try again, lets hope its this year.

Bought the full package of the Corado 4 from Go Outdoors last Christmas; best purchase I've made!
So easy to put up, 2 of us half an hour tops. Plenty of room inside; we've taken it away & had 2 adults & 3 kids of 5 & under in it, the kids slept across a double air bed easy, & also plenty of room in the living area, even with the camping chairs, kitchen & table inside.
As others have mentioned, the only fault (hence a 9 out of 10), is the anomaly of the front door. I don't think the zip all the way round as is the way with the side doors would work for the main door, as you would have to be stepping over to get in, but why Hi Gear didn't put velcro to hold it in place I don't know! Something I will be doing, along with everyone else by the looks of it!
All in all an excellent family tent, withstands wind & rain effortlessly, roomy, easy to assemble & dissemble, & it draws comments from other campers, as we found out last week!
Go on, buy it ;-)

Have just used this tent for a long weekend and it was brilliant, even though it was blowing a gale only took 2 of us 35 mins to put up (others on site had massive problems with their tents because of wind). The carpet is superb and the canopy was very handy great to sit and cook out of the wind and store gear. Loads of room inside for six of us to site round table. Would recommend this tent to anybody who needs plenty of space and an easy tent to put up

We bought this tent in the go outdoors sale on boxing day as a weekend tent. We got the carpet, footprint and canopy included in the package. We have used the tent this weekend and its great. It took the two of us less then an hour to pitch, set up and we had the kettle on in no time. I like the idea that the bedroom can be split into two or left as one big bedroom. There is plenty of room for two double air beds.
The tent is big inside and then with the canopy you have all the room outside which is under cover. We stored most of our things outside and just left the clothes inside. The canopy fits snug to the tent and is easy to erect. There are pockets on the bedrooms for all those little things you can never find keys, mobile etc.
Overall we are very impressed with the tent the only fault is the lack of a insect net on the front door and the fact that it does not Zip all the way round, but already got velcro to fix that.

Purchased my Corado4 from go outdoors Stockport.
It is a practical and very easy tent to erect.
The lack of Mosquito screen is about the only minor fault I could find with it. I bought an electronic Mossie/fly repellent machine to hang inside the entrance.
Highly recommend this tent to both weekend or longish stay breaks.

We purchased the Hi Gear Corado 4 along with the footprint groundsheet; the carpets and the extension canopy at the beginning of last years camping season. It’s easy to put up and has ample room for the two of us and would easily accommodate two others.
We have been camping for many years using a variety of tents but this is a really well designed tent but it could be improved by the fitting of a mosquito net on the front entrance and as others have mentioned some Velcro at the bottom of the front door (which I have already done)
One feature that I really like is that with the front door set back under the front canopy so that you can leave take your shoes off in the dry before entering the tent and leave them under cover.
We’ve used our tent several times this year in all sorts of weather and had no problems at all.

Bought the tent 2 weeks ago and used it last week,we had one nights rain and we had no leaks whatsoever.
Only a 4 man but for our needs there was ample room throughout the tent.
Read other reviews before buying and was a bit wary about the flap at the bottom of the door but was no problem even though I will be adding some velcro.
All in all great tent and can't wait to go camping again very soon.

We have just used our Corado 4 for the first time. My favourite thing about this tent is the ease of putting it up. We put the middle frame up first and after that it's a cinch. Very very easy.
I have two young children and this is bigger than our 6 berth Lichfield commanche, considering it's only a 4 berth.
The carpet was lovely and worth buying for when it's cold.
This tent withstood terrific wind and rain and certainly didn't leak. The pockets to the front of the bedrooms are brilliant and we never lost the camera/phone/car keys once! I also like the windows which you can have open with insect nets and also put a curtain up too for the evening. Lovely airy tent.
My only faults with this is that it didn't look like we had put it up properly and we are very experienced campers (we didn't even need the instructions for this) but I checked them and we did everything right.
Also one of the corner buckles was missing from the bedroom insert. We tied it but I am going to take the tent back and ask for another one. The zips are a bit tight on the bedroom doors as well.
All in all it's a great tent. It's gone down to £200 now as well. We paid £249 with discount.

Just thought I would pop on to agree with RAMAKIN. Light ,airy and spacious ( 2 adults and 2 big Labradors). Also agree with putting velcro on the front door. Bought the carpet, certainly helps with dog hairs and cut grass etc. We also bought the footprint, that keeps your tent dry and clean from the wet grass when you are folding it away. What we did with the bedroom was to take the centre wall down and had our double airbed crossing the tent . A much bigger bedroom

Bought this tent last week after popping into my local Go Outdoors & seeing it set up. Upgraded from a 5 berth Aztec dome tent. 2 of us went camping over Easter with my dog & this tent was fantastic.
It took about 45 mins for 2 of us to put up (with only 5 poles but a lot of guy ropes, which I recommend you peg in as you put each pole in) & sit down with a beer !
The bedroom pods (which attach separately through rings inside the tent) can easily cope with a double airbed, with several storage pockets on one side. There are also 10 ( I think ) storage pockets that face into the living area of the tent & are attached in the middle of the bedroom pods.
The living space of this tent can easily cope with 4 people. I had a table, & stove stand with table, a large cool box & 2 chairs in this tent, & there was still room to walk around & have more people in !
With the tent having 4 windows within the living area that all have blinds or covers, it can be as dark as you want, or as light as you want.
The canopy area at the front is a bonus (with an additional canopy available to buy) which shelters you from the wind quite well, & which was also nice to sit out in the sun !
My only gripe with this tent (which is why it doesn't get 10 out of 10) is the main door under the canopy. I had no problems with the zips closing (unlike reviews I've read of the Corado 6), but the way that the door meets the sewn in groundsheet. Whereas the other doors on the tent are zipped all the way round, at the main door, they have put a clip either side of the door, which allows the groundsheet to fold down flat so you dont have to step into the tent. When this is up, there is no way to stop the breeze coming through the entire width of the door, as there are no velcro strips, or zip along the bottom to do up. This may seem trivial to some, but for me it lets the tent down as apart from that breeze, I really cant fault the Corado 4. Nothing a bit of sewing & velcro wont sort out for my next trip though !
Having never heard of Hi-Gear before, & wondering whether this would be a good purchase or not, this tent is great value for money. On our 1st night, it had to endure extremely strong winds, & very heavy rain which it did with no problems & no leaks. The only thing I had to do was switch some of the pegs on the guy ropes (for others supplied) due to the normals pegs coming out in the weather conditions.
I bought the fitted groundsheet (a must) & carpet for this tent, which with a dog, I think helps as the hairs stay on the carpet & not in the tent !
Highly recommend this tent to anyone who wants a tent that is easy to put up, very secure, & easy to relax in due to a massive amount of space !
