1 Reviews of the Pictor X3
By: Bazzr Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2011 Rating: Date: 18/06/2012
Purchased the Coleman Pictor X3 for myself and my wife's trip to France this 'summer' (2012) sadly summer didn't live up to it's promise, unlike the Pictor.
Pitching is really easy as the inner and outer are set up together, total time taken was about 10/15 minutes, the Pictor is well made and it really stood up to what nature sent our way, surviving wind, heavy rain and thunderstorms. No water managed to get into the tent and we had a dry time inside.
The sleeping area is well ventilated keeping us warm and cosy at night even though the temperatures were considerably lower than the seasonal average and there was no apparent condensation problems.
Only small gripe is with the aluminium tent pegs that are supplied, these are very easy to bend, especially in stony or hard ground, but once in place they do their job.
Being lightweight the Pictor X3 was also ideally suited to carrying on the back of our motorcycle.
All in all I would recommend this tent to anyone that needs a light weight easy to pitch tent, it is spacious for two people and their kit, although three people may find it a bit cramped.

Manufacturer's Description
Compact, incredibly stable and lightweight, this 3 person tent doesn’t compromise on internal space thanks to its tunnel design which offers a great space to weight ratio, providing extra spacious storage and sleeping areas with comfortable head height for all three occupants.
Tunnel designs are constructed for strength in adverse conditions, the7001-T6 aluminium pole construction is not only wind-strong but also lightweight for the strength and stability it provides.
Convenience is the key with this design; it features 2 wide-opening entrances for easier access, particularly with bulky kit and in adverse conditions. Additionally, the zip off groundsheet makes packing, cleaning and weight reduction easier and achievable.
