Bought this because of the easy to put up/take down promise. This is true but disappointed to find one of the poles split on the second campsite. Emailed gelert to request replacement but only after second email did a response come. No apology just 'get a new pole' attitude. Shame as the tent is good and roomy but disappointed with customer service from gelert.

Bought the tent last week and have just used it on an extremely wet weekend in Kent.

One of the things that attracted me was the sewn in groundsheet and the added protection that would afford against the elements and it didn't let us down. We had rain all weekend, torrential at times and not a leak to be found.

There is only two of us so plenty of room for a double airbed and all our paraphernalia in the bedroom, plus as it rained we spent a lot of time in the living area with our two chairs and table and there was plenty of room.

The all-in-one design made it extremely easy to pitch - 25 minutes in total, and also very easy to take down, although a bit of care is needed taking the poles out in one piece.

Very pleased with the tent, we got it at a bargain price too. Ideal tent for 1st time campers who like their experience to be as easy and comfortable as possible.

Bought this from Amazon as it was the best deal for a tent which you can stand up in (for the less than 6ft tall people) for under £100 including footprint.

The tent did leak from around the first fibreglass support hoop when looking in from the front. The weak point seems to be just behind where the connected inner where it is attached to the fly - so some extra sealing needed there. A display tent we looked at had also leaked in the same spot.

The Hydrostatic Head, although low, is adequate for our use as a weekend tourer and the size is more than adequate for a couple. It more than takes a queen sized airbed giving storage space around it.

We tried our tent, for the first time, in Northumberland on a windy weekend and the tent coped reasonably well but we were able to pitch with the front opening away from the direction it was blowing. I have invested in extra guy lines for these conditions but found there were extra pegs included in the tent.

The fully included groundsheet was another reason for buying this tent. The only openings are one large front facing and a smaller right side one on facing from the front. Both go to the atrium of the tent which will take two camp chairs and a small table.

There is a flap to the fully integrated groundsheet which rises on the inside of the front but the side entry does not have a similar flap which is a shame. I would prefer to have velcro on the front flap with a similar arrangement to the side which would keep out unwanted visitors.

There is adequate ventilation to the separately supported but integral inner bedrooms but we have not needed to open this yet.

Inserting the fibreglass poles is easy when erecting the tent and the all in one pitch is quite quick if performed as described in the instructions attached to the stuff sac. However, it is more difficult to remove the poles when taking the tent down. The poles are best pushed through the tent fabric because if pulled the sections will separate making them difficult to extract in a moderate wind.

Overall a tent we are learning about and will modify but are happy to use and will enjoy for the next few seasons.

We took this tent camping in Cornwall for 10 days on a very exposed site. The first few nights we had rain and heavy winds and the tent did leak somewhat. We were not wet ourselves but the inner sheet was soggy and the living area was also wet in places.

We use it for just the two of us and a dog and the size is perfect, not sure I would want anyone else in there too though.

The design of the front sloping means that when it is raining the tent cannot be open at all as the rain comes straight in. We might consider buying the extra porch add on.

The tent does seem very durable and overall we are very pleased with it. Particularly as it was an ex demo model so we got it ridiculously cheap!

Hello camper's. I agree with Mollygamps - a pretty good tent overall. I'm a young-at-heart late 60s, recently widowed and haven't camped for over 30yrs when the sprogs were young'uns. Now a recycled teenager so fancied having another bash at it both alone and with family/friends so bought TWO tents. A pop-up when on my own and the Atlantis 4 when with sprogs / grandkids / anybody? Tried it out just for one night with 1 daughter + 2 teenage g/kids. Living area nice-n-cosy, very tight squeeze bedroom for 2 double airbeds so next time there's 4 of us will take 1 double + 2 singles, one of which can stay in living area, climate permitting. Would be ample room in b/room if 4 occupants were on sleep mats but they're not for me thank you.

Looked especially for SIG to keep nasties out (ugh) so my only real gripe with this tent are the doors; zip down both sides but along the bottom is just toggled which still leaves an accessible gap for unwelcome lodgers! Our big 6man tent from years ago had sig + fully zipped door's, expected same with this one. Bought off web, none near me to inspect. Ah well. Sitting out during evening having the odd drink (as you do) when it started to rain so in went us, chairs/table, girl's watched dvd laid on their beds whilst sprog + I continued our chat and imbibed a little(?) more.

As for head height, standing 4'10' in me socks had no problem! As for attached bedroom. Good - fully enclosed if zipped up. Bad - bit of a struggle to expel all air when dismantling even with all zips open but after sweating cobs managed it. PS.Would advise paying a bit extra for footprint g/sheet, easier to clean and helps protect tent g/sheet.

We are really impressed with this tent. It didn't take too long to pitch- about half an hour. It's supposed to be a 4 berth but I think it would be a squeeze with 4 people. There are only 3 of us (two adults and a child) so it was fine- the sleeping compartment fits 3 large airbeds easily, with a bit of room left for wash bags etc. The living area fits a camp kitchen and table with two chairs- three chairs at a squeeze on rainy days. I'm 5'8 and I could stand up and move around in both the living area and the bedroom, no problem. It is as cozy and draft proof as a tent can be. You can zip up the large vent at the back of the tent- so you won't get the wind howling in in the night.

The only problem we found was that the flaps that cover the outside of the zips are only held down by three bits of velcro, one at the top, middle and bottom of the zip. When it rained the flaps just lifted in the wind and the rain seeped in through the zips. Nothing a bit of sealant and some more Velcro can't sort though. No other leaks at all and the structure doesn't flap in the wind.

The tent doesn't come with poles to convert one of the doors as a porch, but there are holes to support them.

We also liked the colour- it was very light inside the tent and the blue made it seem much brighter than it actually was on rainy days!

The tent ideally needs an additional ground sheet - the one that is built in is perfect- but there's nothing worse than trying to clean it before you pack it all away in the bag. Oh, and it fit's back in the bag easier than other tents I've tried to cram away in the past!

Overall- great value for money- fab tent!
