Great tent! the bedrooms had more than enough space for us and our dog to sleep in. Purchased from go outdoors a few months ago, didn't pitch it in the garden so we just took it out for the first time when camping in woolacombe. It laughed off all the bad weather we got and was easy to collapse. All around, a great value tent!

This is a good sized family tent for us as a family of 6. The sewn in ground sheet meant we could put the travel cot in the living area and having the porch gives you plenty of space for all the cooking equipment and sundries such as wetsuits, shoes etc. The carpet also makes it very cosy when its a bit chilly at night.

We have never had a problem with it leaking, it can withstand a pretty good downpour as we found out last year!

The only gripe I have is the poles break easily, one broke when we were putting it up this year, but then you get what you pay for. This tent is fairly cheap and will probably last us one more trip but after that we would rather invest in one with sturdier poles.

All in all it is not bad tent.

We got one & took it away close to home for a 'test' & the inner tent had a toggle missing, so 160 mile round trip to go-outdoors in York (where we got it) & I ask for a replacement, quote 'no I will give you a new inner bedroom section as we have had loads with that bit missing', so home I go.

We then go camping over the jubilee weekend & it rains non stop! Tent leaks like mad & we have to take one bedroom out (luckily we are on our own. So back to York! another 160 mile trip! only for the same manager to say 'no can't take it back as its after 30 days' I say well I did ask you to change it the 1st time, you said no! & it didn't rain the 1st time we used it! so how was I to know!? He says 'we will have to send it away for testing, it will be 2 weeks' At this point I am not happy! as that means ANOTHER 160 MILE round trip! & we are booked to go camping again the following weekend. 'OK' he says 'as long as there is NO wet at all from when you used it' we check & there is a small damp bit on the ground sheet.

He says ' you will have to take it home & dry it' I tell him '160 miles & all it needs is an hour in your warehouse! we will put it up in your carpark & tell everyone why when they are coming in! Straight away he gets us a new tent!

We go camping the next weekend & I find 2 holes in the tent & a peg point not sewn on at all! So we decided to go to the Norwich Go-Outdoors. They couldn't have been more helpful, I just had to show the manager the faults so she could mark them & away we go with another new tent! This one seems ok but had no rain on it yet??

As for the tent its a great size & other than the problems its a great tent to put up & gives loads of room.

I have had 2 Zenobia 6 tents, still use one. This is a good weekend sunny weather tent. I have used it in the wet and cold and it held up ok, leaked a bit, but could have been worse! I added water proof (Nik Wax spray) this helped. The door seams came apart on both tents, but this maybe as a result of filling the pockets next to the door! Take a repair kit!

For the money this is a good tent, we also use the porch which adds lots of needed space and is a must have.

We were new to camping when we started using the Zanobia 6 and it made things easy and kept us motivated to keep on camping.

If there is a problem, take it back, we did and it was replaced quickly and without issues from GoOut Doors.

I bought my Zenobia 6 in April 2011 from Go Outdoors along with the porch, groundsheet and carpet. The tent is the perfect size for us, two adults and one child. Lots of room and having the porch means we can have the cooking equipment out of the way.

The tent stands up to weather really well. We camped a while ago in torrential rain and really windy conditions for five nights and while other tents were coming loose and bowing in the wind the Zenobia withstood the conditions with no real problem at all, although it did highlight the need to re-waterprrof it each year.

I love my tent and I took a long time deciding on which one was the best size and taking advise from the staff at Go Outdoors as to wether I would be able to put it up by myself.

My niggles with the tent are that I cannot put it up by myself. I do not have the strength to put the pins in the bottom of the poles once one side has been attached, this is really frustrating as I wanted to take my on camping by myself and not have to rely on taking my husband with me. Also the porch sides do not reach the ground causing a draft.

My last niggle and my biggest is that every time I go camping, and I do mean every time, a tent pole splits, so far I have replaced five poles and I will have to go back to go outdoors again this week as I have just found that THREE poles split on our last camping trip a few weeks ago. If it wasn't for the problems with the poles I would have given the tent 9 out of 10.

Although I have these niggles, I do love my tent and I'm glad I bought it, but next time I will by a tent with rigid poles so I do not have to by new poles every time I go camping.

This is our second tent from Go Outdoors. The first one (Gobi 4) leaked while camping in Anglesey last year so we exchanged it and went for the Zenobia. First time camping last week in Anglesey again and guess what. It leaked. This time its gone away for testing, we are awaiting the results. I'm wary of having a third tent from them now and guess the moral of the tale is you get what you pay for. I believe Gelert make these tents, if so i'm not impressed at all ! Shame as the tent is the perfect size for me and the missus.

Very roomy, brilliant for us and three children. Easily erected even with not much practice. Stayed steady in wind and rain even with the porch on. It doesn't leak inside the tent. Value for money. Roomy bedrooms and good big living space. Be sure to leave the bedroom vents open overnight though otherwise you'll have a build up of condensation. Smashing tent. We like it :)

We bought this on our way to the campsite. It was easy to erect but unfortunately did not have all of the fixings for the bedrooms so we had to anchor them with anything we could find. When we packed the tent away we discovered a leak behind one of the bedrooms on the seams. We have informed Go Outdoors and they we're not surprised we wanted to return the tent as the leaking is a common fault apparently. The only positive I have is the size is excellent for a family of four, it is easy to erect and the sewn in groundsheet kept the tent clean! Once the tent has dried out we will be returning it!

Not like me to give a great review. I've been camping for 21yrs. Now I have a Zenobia 6, very roomy, great for our 3 kids + 2 adults. Very poor instructions about putting it up, my first time it taken 30min but now I takes 10/15min. Would recommend to first time camping families but remember 'centre pole first & work your way to one end and then the do other end'! Sounded like it was coming down in the very heavy wind/rain one night and so in the morning we went to inspect the damage to the tent and 'still looked like we had just put it up'!. Don't know what I was worried about. Good quality materials! I got mine from Go Outdoors. Really roomy bedrooms and good big living space (shock). Think we will be buying the porch very soon and kids can leave there shoes/wellies etc etc! REMEMBER - some people think it leaks. But not at all, people close the bedroom vents and that can courses lots of condensation, just like if it as rained it all night. Cooked food that as been left to stand over night can also course condensation so do think what your doing! Think! The tent is for warm conditions and so needs to breath.

Bought this tent in January from go outdoors, we pitched in garden before we went camping to check for tears etc, everything was fine. Went camping over Easter and this tent leaked from everywhere possible during what can only be described as drizzle, I dread to think how bad it would have been during heavy rain. The puddles in the tent where massive. No exaggeration ! the tent itself is a good size with plenty of room for 6 people and lots of living space.

We took the tent back to go outdoors and had a 45minute palaver, I showed them pictures of the puddles as they clearly didn't believe me. After a very long conversation they have agreed to exchange tent, so I will see what new one is like.

Manufacturer's Description

Ideal for the family, the Zenobia 6 is a spacious 6-person tent with flexible door and bedroom options, giving you a wide choice of layouts and storage spaces that you can change to suit any camping trip.

Pre-attached guylines and slick pole sleeves make pitching this tunnel-style tent an easy process. The fully sewn in groundsheet and pegging points around the skirt mean the inside of the tent is draught-free and completely protected from the wet.

The PU coated polyester flysheet with taped seams and water repellent zips offers total protection from any heavy downpours, and the breathable inner and mesh panels will keep you well ventilated while you shelter.

The tent's wide tunnel style gives you excellent headroom throughout, and the large living space has hanging storage pockets to help you keep your kit organised, and an electrical cable access point for you to hook up your appliances.

The side door can be extended out as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, to give you shelter from sunshine or rain, and making the living space even more generous.

An excellent tent for those who want lots of room to move and protection from whatever nature can throw at us.
