5 Reviews of the Theta 300

Just perfect and that is all I can say . Put it up in minutes not hours had loads of room and even better was the space . It rained heavy and was windy but this bad boy just took it in its stride and kept us warm and dry . The construction is nice and easy on the eye and cleverly deceiving in size . No condensation yes no condensation at all and the vents work perfectly .

Great for overnight or weekend stays. I took it to Flambourough in October for a couple of nights. It was really windy and rainy but this beauty of a tent had no problems dealing with that! The tent stayed completely dry inside, no leaks at all. Really easy to pitch, took me 10 mins on my own. Good size although it would be a push for three people. Porch area a good size for storage. Would recommend this tent very highly :)

Purchased for £49.99 while on offer at Go Outdoors - bargain!

An excellent tent for one, or a couple at a push as it will fit a double airbed, though its cosy!

Super easy to put up & down and goes back into its bag every time with the bedroom inner attached.

Porch area is big enough to store equipment/clothes & if solo camping is big enough to shelter in, although I wouldn't recommend cooking in it!

Managed to buy this tent from Go Outdoors for only £40 although it seem to be on sale for more than this usually. It's a small tent, but feels bigger than it looks inside because of the decent headroom it has. However, it feels a bit shorter than other small tents. It's advertised as a 3 man tent, but it's really only suitable for 2 people and their gear. We've used in cold, wet conditions and it stood up well, with no leaks and no condensation inside. The porch is a decent size & could be used for storage if conditions are dry. It seemed to stand up to the wind OK. Our Vango tarp was destroyed by the wind during the night, but inside our Theta we hardly even noticed the wind. A lovely little weekend or overnight tent, but a bit too heavy for backpacking.

Great tent for overnight or short stays. Rained overnight, stayed completely dry. Easy to pitch, should take no longer than 10 mins. Its semi Geodesic design means it will withstand a bit of wind . Good porch area for storage, maybe not enough space to cook in if thats what you wanted the porch for.

Its double skin and rear vent meant there was no condensation.

At 5kg would make a great festival tent.
