We bought this tent in the sales in January for £250 which is a bargain because it is a lot of tent.

We are both quite short but it is still possible to pitch in reasonable time. Around an hour from arrival to opening a tin beer and we pitched it in 45mph winds and packed it away in 50mph winds.

It has a very large living area with the option of separating down the middle with a curtain making two reasonable size rooms. The Panorama Room is wonderful and gives the opportunity to look out whilst the doors are closed. We used it to eat in. This area also has a removable ground sheet.

The tent is well ventilated with the mesh vents at the top of each room and zip window in the rear. The bedrooms are a good size and separated into two, fit our Intex queen double bed comfortably, but we did opt to take the curtain out and use the whole bedroom which was wonderful.

We only knocked points off for;

The window blinds roll up which means lots of bending down or kneeling.

There is only access for the EHU on one side of the tent.

I know these are really minuscule things but all in all we love it.

We bought this tent at the bargain price of £250 in the January sales and not regretted it. We have only just returned from our first 4 nights in it. It's been a long few months biting at the bit to pitch it, but well worth the wait.

It is such a spacious tent, perfect for our family of 4 (2adults 2children) and our 2 dogs. It's light and airy with plenty of ventilation points.

Tent stood up to strong winds, snow, frost, and sometimes some sun pretty well. We hope it stands up to rain just as well.

Bedrooms are spacious and took our bed set up well (double height airbed and a double airbed).

Living room (middle) was spacious and was easy to heat in the evening with the middle door/wall closed. Plenty of room for 4 chairs, with lots of space in the middle for the kids to play.

The front porch was used by us as a kitchen and dog bedroom lol. Again this was spacious, with enough room for a large table and camping cupboard to fit side by side with room to spare on one side, leaving lots of room left for dogs, shoes etc.

Tent went up fairly easily, the poles do snag the sleeves slightly. Lots and lots of pegging points. We were surprised at the strength of the supplied pegs, as we'd read some bad reviews on here, and had taken others to compensate, we didn't use the spares.

Slightly harder to pack up, mainly because we weren't really sure what we were doing. Thankfully the bag is HUGE and the tent fitted back in anyway.

Only real criticism of the tent, aside from 'panorama front - water coming in' , is that there isn't a ehu point on both sides. We had set the kitchen up on the side with the ehu point, unfortunately this is also the side the middle door closes, lots of banging of heads and stretching were done.

Overall we are very pleased with the Cleveland 5, and can see many years in it ahead of us.

Im about to have my second weekend in my new Cleveland 5, and cant wait!

I replaced my Virginia 5 with this tent as I wanted a little more space and our 'forever tent'. And didnt I just get it! I purchased the package from GO on price promise for 410 for tent footprint and carpet.

Very easy pitch even solo.Took about 30 mins first pitch.

The tent has some great features, the windows can be up down or half open. The middle door section opens up or can be closed for a cosy inner living area. The front panorama room is brilliant, toggle in groundsheet and the whole front can be toggled back to open the whole tent out.

The bedrooms would take 5 no problem, but I have this tent for me and my son so nice roomy rooms!

Very good in the wind thank to the wss and pole that runs from front to back, it hardly moved in strong winds. We also had rain, I folded back the front toggle in groundsheet by the door and made the door into a canopy with king poles and tied the curtain to the bottom of the poles to give an outside cooking are. Worked well!

Overall. Brilliant new design, well thought out, spacious and well worth the outlay for serious campers. (don't forget price checking, as you can save over £120!)
