5 Reviews of the Morpheus 6

Bought this tent in April, as I wanted a big tent with carpet and zip fronted porch, The porch was a bit fiddly to attach, but got there in the end, so for my trip tomorrow for the week, ive bought a few bulldog clips to hold it in place while we put the pegs in, otherwise you'll need about 8 hands! Fantastic extra space, great when we had a downpour, could still cook etc. Loads of space in the main tent, we put the 3 bedrooms in, but found it defeated the object of having a large interior living space,as it was taken up by the bedrooms! But we removed one of them and my son stored his bed in one of the bedrooms and in the night, brought it out and slept in the living space! 'Fantastic'. As with any new product,a few teething problems at first, but we have now adapted it to how we will use it. Stayed lovely and dry inside during a heavy night of rain, Love this tent, now we've had a dummy run. Roll on tomorrow Tenby here we come!

We purchased the Morpheus 6 as a package deal (tent, footprint, carpet and porch), great value and still some good deals around. Used our tent for the first time last week and very happy. Pitching was easy, although the porch took some working out (Gelart instructions are not the best). Once up the tent was very stable, very roomy even with all three bedroom pods up, the porch provided an extra room for table, chairs and cooking equipment. We had rain over two nights but didn't suffer any leaks at all. Ventilation is very good and hardly any condensation inside. All in all we think we found a bargain and plan to stick with this tent for a few seasons.

Not a camper but sold my caravan then suddenly realised needed something for 6 adults for Silverstone Motogp. So bought the full kit. Couldn't believe how easy to erect the whole thing, groundsheet helps and I suppose putting up different awnings over the years helps. One note if the porch is to stay up in high winds you must have the guy ropes facing both ways (side ropes mirror image of the front ones) so the end frame could stand alone, if it moves the porch will be blown down.

This endured 4 days of high winds and 2 nights of very heavy rain with one tiny and I mean tiny leak. Yes the frame moves a bit but let it, that way it will stay up.

The room is ample bedrooms just nice size to sleep in, and as said with just 2 rooms very spacious.

Put all the cooking equipment, fridge (which is quite large) and table in the porch and nice room. Would have been better to have a side door open but too muddy.

Very quick and easy to take down and pack as well.

Not sure if will use again or stick the whole lot on ebay, nothing wrong with the tent just not sure about camping, better than caravaning though which is so tedious and oneupmanship these days.

We bought this tent as out first new one. We have the tent and the canopy, a combination I highly recommend. The tent itself is very spacious, especially is you do not use the third pod.We like the curtains and the pockets they are contained in. The various pockets for storage are a bonus. The carpet is in two pieces to you can not use it in case of the third pod. The extension was tricky to put up at first, but is is very spacious and stops any drafts in the main tent. The colour and styling was much admired on both outings , we did take it down in winds over 50mph and lashing rain and it moved too much for our liking. We bought ours with carpet and extension from Price pounder for £199

Just bought this tent and tested it out (April 2012). We are very happy with this purchase and absolutely LOVED all the space it has. It is a 3 bedroom unit but we only use the two at the back (2 people in each, not spacious but not too cosy either). Headroom and width is great giving us a great living area with plenty of room for a table and 6 chairs comfortably. The 'porch' on its own wouldn't have been any good in bad conditions as it doesn't close up but we bought the canopy (that does zip closed) too, giving us an extra 'room' which we use for the kitchen and storage of shoes etc. All the fittings, pegs, poles, ropes, Velcro-ed curtains, doors, zips etc are very dependable apart from in heavy wind and rain, where you will undoubtedly get some leaks. In general, an excellent tent, especially for the prices around this year. We love it and have no major gripes with it and hope to enjoy plenty of trips away in it.
