I bought this tent last year and used it at a week long festival. Weather was horrendous wind and rain ,at one point we had to dig a trench to divert water running to wards us, however we stayed warm and dry probably due to the very deep sewn in groundsheet. My only bugbear is in those weather conditions nowhere to cook out of the elements. I am desperate to find a canopy that fits

I have been using this tent for 2 seasons now and overall, I am very pleased with it. As its only my wife and I, then this is very spaceous for the two of us, but I struggle to imagine 6 adults in this.

So far (touch wood) I have had no problems with the poles but I did have to rig up some extra guy ropes at the front of the tent to help in strong winds.

My only real gripe is that there is only one small piece of velcro holding the bottom of the side door closed. It either needs the zip to go all the way down the sides and around the bottom, or two or three more patches of velcro.

I also purchased this in a half price deal at Tesco , and really cant complain about value for money.

Bought this tent for half price in jan sales, first impressions very pleased with the size and how easy to put up (on a good day no wind )

Took our new tent 2wks ago to Golden Sands Mablethorpe haven site, thank god for the haven handyman because he saved our holiday the front tent poles shattered soon as a bit of wind hit it. New sections had to be replaced day one, new extra guide ropes had to be added to the tent to stop it blowing away. The side door only has a bit of velcro to fasten at the bottom, so that was flapping every time wind blew and flooded twice with the amount of rain smashing the tent. On taking the tent down to pack up only 3 sections of pole remained tacked from over 20 pieces the elastic had split through every piece the tent has been returned back to the shop and a full refund has been given.

On the whole I thought this tent was very big, plenty of space in both the living and sleeping area but the carbon poles are no way thick enough to hold such a big tent or enough guide rope in bad weather and thats a shame, so back to my old Vango karios it is then

Bought this as wanted a tent I could take my 3 kids in without needing too much help to put up. This also had one big bedroom rather than split or pods and I wanted us all to be able to sleep in one room comfortably. I already own a larger Gelert tunnel tent but find it too heavy and tricky to pitch so wanted something easier. This ticked every box plus it has built in ground sheet which makes the whole tent so much snugger (our old gelert was draughty in the extreme!).

Like other reviewers I found the instructions very basic and found out after some faffing that the grey pole goes at the back! Once up though its amazing, camped on coast last summer with no problems once we'd sorted out the tension around the door. Perfect size, plenty of sleeping room for 4 or even 5.

Bought from Tesco half price last summer but would have been easily worth paying the £120 full price tag.

Looking forward to more adventures this year!

I bought the Corona last year as I wanted to take my two children camping by myself. This seemed to look like a tent I could pitch by myself and would offer all the comfort we would need for short breaks.

I got the tent half price from Tesco but I would have been happy to pay the full price as I am very pleased with it.

It takes a little while to thread the poles through as the sleeves reach the end of the poles, but I feel this adds to the stability. It is very easy to pitch and takes me about 20 minutes, start to finish.

I feel almost as if I shouldn't mention the downsides, as I would expect some for only paying £60! The first one is the bedroom divider came apart from the material but that was due to one of my clumsy children falling on it. The other thing I would have preferred was a cable entry point but it is really no problem popping through side door. The tension in the front door is sometimes difficult and takes some adjusting.

They are the only downsides I can really think of. We have had a great few breaks away in it. It has also been pitched and stood up to very high coastal winds. I was expecting some broken poles but everything stayed put and, to my surprise, the tent hardly moved.

I also bought some king poles to pop the canopy door on. I haven't managed to work those out too well yet but that is a manufacturing problem with me, no fault of the tent!

Overall, I would recommend this tent for short breaks and one nighters for ease of pitching and space offered.

Gelert Corona 6 purchased for under £50, went up no problems, easy to pitch using Cross Campers method, great size for 2 of us and dog, sure there are good points and bad points but for less than £50 does it really matter? Green nice colour it matches the grass,no hole for EHU lead but hey, we don't have one so no worries there, guy ropes are luminous green- nice touch, inside of tent is green (and grey) do you see a pattern emerging here? carry bag is green very nice it is to.All in all it has a lot of green going on. Nice!

Fantastic tent. Very cheap in Tesco deal (I picked mine up for under £50). Very easy to pitch once you work out the odd instructions. We had it up in 15 minutes once we'd established what went where.

The sleeping area is huge!

Negatives - I can only echo two important things that others have said:

1) The grey pole goes AT THE BACK!

2) Storm Pegs! Especially in soft ground. The front collapsed on the first night because I had normal pegs in 40mph winds and soft, wet ground. No damage fortunately.

Very pleased overall.

Absolutely love the this tent but terrible instructions. Uninformative to some new trying to build a tent and after an hour or so became quite agitated. Love the tent and currently just under £60 at tescos is a steal for a first tent.

P.S the pole with the grey section goes at the rear !

Bought a corona 6 last week. . Well happy with the price and the space looks good. Could not put it up as the poles would not get into the rings. . Very very tight. Even tore the seam in trying. A big shame as it looks a good tent. All in one pitch for ease & speed also aids stability

Dual entrance options

Spacious bedrooms

Fully sewn in groundsheet for increased protection

Large living area windows

Double guying system for increased stability

Pre-attached guylines aid pitching

This tent is marketed as easy to pitch, which is the reason we bought it. It lives up to the claims. The three poles are fed through outer sleeves and fastened with the pin and ring system. Some strength is needed to get the poles onto the rings but once this is done the rest of the pitching takes about 5 minutes. The living area is roomy, with two large windows. The two doors can be held up with poles, although these are not supplied. The sleeping compartment is generous and the black fabric helps to keep the area dark. We used the tent for just the two of us so the space was almost luxurious. It can easily accommodate three adults each side of the central divider, although the divider itself is quite flimsy. There are three large pockets on each side of the sleeping compartment, and useful pockets on the outer wall of the sleeping pod.

The tent proved to be amazingly stable in moderate to strong winds, and would have survived the later 50mph gusts if we had had the foresight to use the storm pegs. As we didnít, the guy ropes became detached and three sections of pole split. The rain was torrential but the tent did not leak at all, either through the seams or under the doors, even with broken poles.

All in all, very good value for money.

Plus points:

Easy to pitch.

Stable (unless itís blowing a gale) and leak-free.

Generous height and roomy interior.

Storage pockets

Very good ventilation of the the sleeping compartment via mesh panels and outer vents.

Not so good:

No awning poles supplied

Difficult to get the tension right at the front of the tent/door.

No mesh panels on the doors.

No electric cable entry point (not that we needed one!)

Good and bad:

The pole sleeves extend over the entire pole. This adds to stability but also adds to the time needed to thread the poles through them.
